the swamp roamer is a large brutal creature capable of grabbing people with its 3 fingered hands and carries a large blade that it uses for cutting up its food

you need wiremod for this to work

place then unfreeze by looking at with physgun and pressing R

also check out the steam collection it has lots of other robots in there

what he is saying is when you get in the line of the invisible ranger, its connected to the pod, making it grab you.

it uses a pod that has a user in front of it and there is a ranger linked to the user
heres a little explanation of how it works

(ranger linked to user => user pointed at pod => pod grabs player when player triggers the user via the ranger)
