New Version available: Pathmaker II

Update 27.2.18: New Skid Steering Script! Link below.

Hi there!

This is another vehicle based on the Vanguard´s chasis.
It´s not pretty, but that wasn´t it´s intention.
It´s an armored bridgelayer, that can deploy a foldable bridge.
The process isn´t that easy however, it´s strongly advised to read the instructions first.
There was a lot of testing and failing involved but it worked out, to some extend.
I am quite happy how it turned out, especially the reliability.

Huge thanks to Whiplash and MMaster for their incredible scripts, which allow us to build cool stuff!
Also thanks to Inky for his Tracks!

Make sure to check out my other tank designs here!

Tips
-
The Skid Steering Script is deactivated by default, but you can turn it back on in the toolbar.
-
The cockpit is accesible from the top off the hull, just raise the bridge, if it´s loaded, and jump on the hull using the steps on the sideskirts, if you have no jetpack available.
-
Never toggle any Rotor Locks or Merge Blocks when Landing Gears or Connectors are locked!
-
When driving on blocks you have to press W or S in order to use the skid steering.

Basic Stats
Block count: 1091
Weight: close to 100 tons (with bridge)
Top speed: 70 kph

Features

- Gyro-assisted Skid Steering (Skid Steering System v12[github.com]) by Whiplash

- 2 Cameras (front, back)

- Warning System scanning for unknown objects within 50m vicinity

- Connectors on the bottom and rear of the hull

- 4 Projectors for hull repair, one as a directional marker for the hull and two as markings for the bridge deployzone

- Info-LCDs (MMaster´s Automated LCDs 2)

Very nice i do think that the bridge needs to be wider to you dont have to practically drive on a rope and be able to collect the bridge from the other side once youve crossed either way great job :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I will try to incorporate them in the successor to the mk. I Pathmaker. :)

It's awsome, however I think it should be able to:

A. Pick upt the bridge from behind.
B. Have The Deploy, And Pull up be on timers! Therefore, trigger it with a single button!

Thanks!

Hmm, after watching LSG's video on this, I've noticed a difference between mine AVLB and your Pathmaker, Mine can be recovered from either side of the gap, and also mine doesn't lock down.
This is awesome though :D

yeah, you have to be careful and line up your vehicle precisely... might take a look and it and redo the deployable bridge :)
