Thanks alot! I've been trying to get this achievement for a long time since every seed on internet doesn't spawn the same things as it did years ago.

So, I never spawned in the top right corner, I think that depends on who you play as. I played the Sophon's each time and spawned in the exact same spot, bottom right-ish. So you can try that with the other settings. But the Sister's spawned in the same spot too, which is directly right of your starting area. (fire some probes) Make sure the first tech you get is Baryonic Shielding in the science tree, it should only take 2 or 3 turns as the Sophon's. That way you can actually get to them, as their not connected to you via nodes. Fire a few probes over and you'll see it, for me it took all 5 turns of the probe to see the connecting galaxy. But once you're there, just head to the bottom right portion and you'll see them. (I had to try 3 times because I didn't realize you had to actually fight them for this)

Regardless, you show up and fight the guys (i'd suggest making two or three fighters) and then achievement unlocked! Thanks.
