Arachne Mod Color Patch

Beskrivning
Changes the Arachne species to lack skin and instead be entirely covered in their exoskeleton, so they won't flop in half and have their head sag into a goey pile.

Because this opened up a slider, you can now also choose the eye color of your Arachne character.

Obviously requires the Arachne species mod (by Quintexial) to work.

See the discussion for suggesting/voting on additional Arachne sprite modification mods.

Flop in half?🤔

I don't know. Arachne anatomy might be confusing without a more direct examination, but my crewmates seem to be standing, walking, and jumping just fine.

Still, this is a good mod for anyone who prefers an appearance that's less human and more monstrous, like the Merr-kin sprite mods.

do it like the cat race lets just say they have telepathy, but the armor thing i understand will look messed up. sorry

@HoudiniTheSnek: That'd be impossible to do without messing up all of the armors, and wouldn't really work within Starbound's system. For example, what about weapons? I mean, sure I could make them hold items in their pedipalps, but that'd look weird, and wouldn't function all that well either probably. It'd be doable, but a pain in the butt, and I have other projects to work on.

So... a spider...
Starlight Lazuli 15 mar, 2018 @ 14:25
wtf william? anyways could you do another reskin of the arachne so that it looks like a full spider without the human upper half, like just with a spider head, and then just make the female bigger than the male version like in real life

I always thought that their exoskeleton went inwards at their waist, building into a human skeleton from that point onwards.

@ENOTCHAN you have a character extender mod right?
Ren 14 feb, 2018 @ 20:26
Neat! But you may want to tune up the shading, the human half still looks somewhat "non-chitinous" when you compare it with the spider half.
