[Better mods in description] 8 Max AP and 3 Summon Limit [DE Unsupported]

Description
Since some better modders handled the issue (Hate you LaughingLeader :P). There should be no more issues between AP increase and Summon limit increase mods from below:
Summon Tweaks (LaughingLeader): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1502424642
8 Max AP (Baardvaark): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1502603584

Hope you enjoy their work.

//// Pre DE description.
Due to incompatibility between 8 Max AP mod and Increased summon limit mods, I've created one which does both those things. For myself mostly but I see no issue in publishing it.
This mod only changes MAX AP. Both Starting AP and AP Recovery are unchanged.

Heads up: This mod does not change the summons AP. On one hand to prevent more incompatibilities then necessary since summons to my limited knowledge don't inherit the same base classes, on the other - more summons from maxed out summoner is more then enough power up.

I have no experience, nor have I read anything about DOS2 modding. I just opened Divinity Engine 2 and messed with some stuff.

This mod basically overrides the base _Hero class, which I pressume would make it incompatible with any mods (Unless they modify classes above _Hero) that would do any of below:
- Modify base traits of all characters ( My assumption is Pet Pal mod edits classes above _Hero class, since my Pet Pal is still available on all characters from this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1137133975 )
- Modify max weight/AP at start/AP recovery/Movement speed
- Etc. All stats set by _Hero class are available in DivinityEngine if you'd like to check what might be incompatible

Looking forward to any input on the mod but I doubt I'll have much time to tweak it if something breaks. At least in the near future.

Update 24.02.2018
  • I have fixed the glass cannon to restore only base 6 AP on first turn. The AP recovery works as expected, that is if the player had 1 or 2 AP left he will get respectivelly 7 and 8 AP next turn.
  • I have also added a new cat npc "Sir Unbalanced" on Lady Vengeance and in Fort Joy. He has the ability to disable these changes and make Glass Cannon restore 8 AP every turn. In Fort Joy he's located near the wall where you first see Sebille following the Dreamer.
  • I have never completed the game so these two locations are all that I know. If someone wishes to give me cordinates in which the npc should also be placed - feel free.

This mod will be no longer supported, nor do I intend to port it to DE.

Since some better modders handled the issue (Hate you LaughingLeader :P). There should be no more issues between AP increase and Summon limit increase mods from below:
Summon Tweaks (LaughingLeader): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1502424642
8 Max AP (Baardvaark): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1502603584

Enjoy.

Well for the Definitive Edition you can't since the editor is not available.
For the Classic version, I'd ask on the discord. I never had any problem with publishing and as far as I know the workshop publishing is in the same menu as local publishing.

how the hell do you publish to the steam workshop? Ive been trying to for so long now I can only do "Local publish"

I have the base mod version more or less ready for the DE since I lost the original files due to harddrive failure.
I should publish the new version once the editor drops. As I read the new version will have it's own page on the workshop so I'll link it here.

I intend to but as I see on the Divinity Discord the editor for DE is not out yet.

no not specifically with this mod. I want to be able to merge several other mods for a super mod so I dont have to sub to 60 items which effects load times

Althou what mods are incompatible with this one? I didn't get any reports

Sure. I'll try to give you some pointers but I've lost all data recently and cannot give anything concrete. I might have more once definitive edition rolls out since I was thinking or making it again for that.

hey can you show me how you made this mod please? PM me when you get a chance Im trying to get started on a "master mod" that melds incompatible mods together so we dont have conflicts
