Introduction

This and this are examples of collection pages and are what this guide will show you how to make!

These pages allow for a lot of customization and are great for showing off art, information, or having discussion boards. These are some of the things you can add to them:

Step 1

Before creating a collection we need to upload a workshop item for "Saxxy Awards". You can do this real quick by visiting this link in a browser: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/edititem/767/3/

This will be private so its content doesn't matter. Go ahead and fill the page out. Before clicking "Save and Continue" send the code below using your browser's console.

document.getElementsByName("file_type")[0].value = 11;
document.getElementsByName("consumer_app_id")[0].value = 405270;

Now you can click "Save and Continue" at the bottom of the page. This will take you to your newly created workshop item that only you can see. Make it private and close out of the workshop page.
Step 2

Now that we have our workshop item we're ready to create our collection page. Start by visiting this link in a browser: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/editcollection/?appid=405270

Here you can give your collection page a title, thumbnail, and description. Fill out the information and click "Save and Continue". On the next page it requires you to add an item to your collection. Go ahead and select the one you made in step one.

Once it's selected click "Save and Continue".
Step 3

You're now able to upload a custom header image. A few things to note when making yours:

 • 948 x 470 pixels in size
 • 8 MB or smaller
 • PNG, GIF, or JPEG format

A template can be found here.[i.imgur.com]

Once your header image is uploaded you're given the option to add a video from YouTube. Either enter the URL of your video of choice or just ignore it.

I suggest messing around with the header image until you've found a creative way of formatting it, as there's a lot of different things you can do with it.
Step 4

Now that you've uploaded your header, you can go back and add images and buttons into the description of your collection if you want. The description is viewable right under the header and basically acts as the main contents of your collection page.

 • The max width for images in the description is 631
 • No file size limit
 • PNG, GIF, or JPEG format

 1. Upload the image you want to embed to an image hosting site like {LINK REMOVED}.
 2. Copy your image's direct link once you've uploaded it to an image hosting site.
 3. Replace the imgur link in the code below with your image link.

 4. Put the completed code in your item's description.

 1. Upload the image button you want to embed to an image hosting site like {LINK REMOVED}.
 2. Copy your image's direct link once you've uploaded it to an image hosting site.
 3. Replace the imgur link in the code below with your image link and add your image's hyperlink.

 4. Put the edited code into your discription.

Note: If some linked images have a link preview, you can remove the preview using this guide.

For mine, I embedded a mix of images and image buttons for a seamless, clickable menu.

Step 5

Once you're happy with the finished product, go ahead and hit publish.

Closing Notes

 • Once it's published, you'll notice the workshop item you made in step 1 is at the bottom. Don't worry, only you can see it.

 • When making edits after publishing, I suggest using the browser instead of the client.

 • Leave any questions in the comments and I'll try to answer them.

@Mister Are you using Imgur? Make sure to use the direct link to the image, not the album link.
