For the Centaurian gladiators, your tail was your greatest pride, and to have it cut off in battle was the greatest indignification known. Many a time, the larger the tail, the heavier the armor that would be worn by the gladiator on his tail. Bradwarden saw it as indignification in itself to hide your tail, and thus he shows it with pride.
