Dawnstar - Bullet Train

– A train that can traverse planets efficiently, reliably and fast.

– To load world: Open Space Engineers -> New Game -> Workshop Content -> Select "Dawnstar - Bullet Train" -> Quckstart
– Track is ~ 60 km long and travels it in 13.5 minutes averaging a speed of 74 m/s.
– Autopilot is hands free from the outpost to the Ice station, no autopilot for the return journey due to expected varying loads.
– Due to instability with the game the large grids at launch vibrate and it is recommended to use jetpack. Survival the vibration can kill you trying to walk.
– Since the completion of the autopilot and my knowledge of the track the train never unintentionally derailed for 20+ trips.
– To drive manually from the cockpit, turn off the auto pilot and start by disengaging the breaks by reversing the rotation. Forward thrusters to go forward and Reverse to slow/reverse. Both being off allows you to coast at speed through most of the track.
– The world load is quite performance intensive, removing some of the rear cars, and stations may help some.
-Space Engineers is a early access title so in the likely event this workshop does not work in the future, revert to a previous game build to use or wait to see if I fix it.
