Inspired by the now deleted "Scars Deserve Respect" mod by Speed Demon.

This mod simply changes the negative "Social" impact of being Disfigured (i.e. facial injuries) from a -15 penalty into a +10 gain.

Because when you get injured in the line of duty, you deserve some friggin' respect.

Compatibility

This should be compatible with any mod. However, if you have a mod that also changes the Disfigured value, then put this mod *after* that one in your load order to apply the +10 "Social" gain.

@S: I don't really play Rimworld enough any longer to write new mods, although I do still keep the main ones current. But feel free to write your own. Thank you for the suggestion!

You need to have a standalone version of this mod that doesn't remove disfigured, but add's "cool scar"
Because people get disfigured aswell in combat, or everyday life.

@Vakaria I apologize for the manners, I just wrote this literally from the colony that this mod saved. As I said earlier, the mod is beautiful and logical, I will wait for more "LOGIC" in the God-forsaken Rimworld.

Спасибо за мод, безумно бесила логика Rimworld, где парень с пушкой, является первой и последней линии защиты, и который из за тебя стал инвалидом, а ты его ненавидишь за то что он "недостаточно хорош" что позволил нанести себе увечья. (Всегда думал об этом...но еще больше я думал, каким образом человек в силовой броне, получает минус к репутации, да то что его торс искалечен...Я поверю еще в лицо...но те части тела, которые постоянно закрыты...Странная логика игры)

Vanilla fr needs to tone the disfigurement penalty down cause why is a frostbite scar on an ear -15

I agree, makes a lot of sense that ideology-wise that Scars incurred from battle gain you additional respect/admiration... heck, could have both. Afterall if half his face is missing it still looks nasty, however you can still respect it I'd say.
Makes more sense than just purely ritualistic scarrification.
