Na chwilę obecną gra działa, lecz menu chodzi powoli, natomiast sama gra już ma normalną prędkość, lecz znkają częsci mapy. Na tą chwilę nie odkryłem sposobu na te problemy, ale jak tylko znajdę rozwiązania to dodam je do tego poradnika.

This guide shows how I did that game working on Windows 10. In order for it to work at all, you need to have the most up-to-date Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, because it was there the compatibility option required to run the game appeared, but more on that later. I will present here a way that has worked for me, but has not yet been checked several times, so some options may not be necessary to work or maybe something else has been done on the system which I did not associate with the Hogs of War game, if I determine that I will add such a note. At the moment the game works, but the menu is slow, while the game itself has normal speed, but they do have parts of the map. At the moment I have not discovered a way to address these problems, but as soon as I find solutions, I will add them to this guide.

Standardowo Windows 10 nie ma pobranej funkcji DirectPlay, która jest wymagana przez grę Hogs of War. Pobierzmy ją, najpierw wchodzimy w panel sterowania i wybieramy Programy i funkcje
następnie wybierz Włącz lub wyłącz funkcje systemu Windows
znajdź składniki starszej wersji rozwiń i zaznacz DirectPlay

Zatwierdź przyciskiem ok.

By default, Windows 10 does not have DirectPlay downloaded, which is required by the Hogs of War game. Download it, first enter the control panel and select Programs and Features.
Then select Turn Windows features on or off.
Find Legacy components expand and select DirectPlay.
Confirm with the ok button.

Mamy doczynienia z starszą aplikacją, więc napewno korzysta z starszych bibliotek Directx. Nowe systemy zawierają biblioteki DirectX, ale tylko te najnowsze, natomiast nie zawierają bibliotek DirectX 9.0c i starszych, co powoduje problem z wieloma starymi grami. Proponuję pobrać i zainstalować je prosto od Microsoftu kliknj tu[www.microsoft.com].
Uwaga! Instalator chce zainstalować pasek Bing Bar jeżeli go nie chcesz odznacz go, bo inczej zainstalujesz go.

We're dealing with an older application, so it certainly uses older Directx libraries. New systems include DirectX libraries, but only the latest ones, but do not include DirectX 9.0c and older libraries, which causes a problem with many old games. I suggest downloading and installing them straight from Microsoft click here[www.microsoft.com]
Note! The installer wants to install the Bing Bar if you do not want to uncheck it, because you will install it.

Na koniec musimy ustawić klka rzeczy, w tym celu przechodzimy do folderu Steam\steamapps\common\HogsofWar\ i szukamy pliku:

1. warhogs_.ini i uruchamiamy go edytorem tekstu np. notatnikiem

   dalej powinna być podana ścieżka która wskazuje folder w którym zainstalowaną mamy grę, ale chwila przecież ta ścieżka nie jest prawidłowa, zmieńmy więc ją na prawidłową i zapisujemy plik.
   
2. warhogs_.exe klikamy na nim prawym przyciskiem myszki i wybieramy właściwości, przechodzimy na zakładkę Zgodność i tu właściwie wystarczy zaznaczyć
   Wyłącz optymalizacje pełnoekranowe
   i potwierdzić przyciskiem ok

Finally, we have to set things up, to do this we go to the Steam\steamapps\common\HogsofWar\ folder and search for the file:

1. warhogs_.ini and run it with a text editor, for example, a notepad
   we will notice here the line
   InitialPath =
   next should be given the path which indicates the folder in which we have installed the game, but wait the moment, this path is not correct, so let's change it to the correct one and save the file.
   
2. warhogs_.exe click on it with the right mouse button and select the properties, go to the Compatibility tab and here it is enough to mark
   Disable fullscreen optimizations
   and confirm with the ok button

To już koniec, gra powinna działać, lecz nadal menu gry chodzi powoli, a podczas rozgrywki znika nam teren. Jak znajdę na to sposób to dopiszę do tego poradnika.
