Description
This is the Titan I Armored Recovery Vehicle, used to help out damaged tanks and if needed tow them away from the fight. To fulfill it´s task the ARV is equipped with a dozerblade at the front, to stabilize the hull when lifting things or in order to clear paths. For the towing part, it features an arm with Landing Gears at the end, capable of lifting and towing equipment. There´s also a second seat for the driver of the tank in need of help. It is based on the new Vanguard II chassis, so it´s reliable and can take and can take a beating, however, it is not built to face other tanks in direct engagements.

Huge thanks to Whiplash and MMaster for their incredible scripts, which allow us to build cool stuff!
Also thanks to Inky for his Tracks!

Make sure to check out my other tank designs here!

|Tips|
-
Handle the arm with care, it hasn´t snapped in any way for me, but the chassis i wobbling around a bit when using the arm.
-
The Landing Gear at the end of the arm can rotate in a vertical axis, to enable the two connected vehicles to corner. Only unlock that last rotor when the tank is locked to the one that needs towing. Also lock it again before you let loose the tank, so that the Landing Gear is always facing the right direction. Otherwise it might turn around and face the wrong way for the next towing mission.
-
Make sure the dozerblade is lifted up and the rotor locks are enabled, when driving alot.
-
Read the controls below.

After placing the rotors like that I remove the rotorheads and build the crane arm, including the heads. After that you have to manually put the crane arm in a position where the rotors and heads can be connected via the control menu (with a lifting ship) and voila. You can do that with any amount of rotors, just prebuild the arm with the heads and connect it manually. Don´t forget to set the rotor´s offset values to 0 on small grids and -40 on large grids, so they don´t push or pull against each other. About the collision, that´s just trial and error, if it´s jittering after placing try again. Hope I could help you :)

There are a few things i need to know: how did you place two rotors to move the same grid (crane double rotor elevation) and how did you not make the rotors colide with the blocks near them? i'm always having problems with this
