How to fight monsters
By Penigra
Simple video guide how to fight every monster with most crappy sword available :)

Ripper
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EWmxAftP0M

Most cheesy one, start spamming X to lock on while he's running towards you, right after lock-on use heavy attack and start running :D
when you see that your stamina bar is almost full use heavy attack again (with 3lvl sword they can be one-shoted)

Spitter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWGGDE8W9ww

As you can see it's very simple to dodge homming spit, as it is like 1 metter fom you just roll away
Spitters have nasty abylity when fighting them, suicide run.
If your attack leave them with 5% HP they will start suicide run, just roll away and they will lose track of you, just like thier spit

Impaler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR-EG_qpaII

Mutation of Spitters(?) they will try to impale you :)
best way to avoid is to run sideways or roll 1 secound after their laser track beam disappear.

Crusher
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23AsrM1jd1k

My favorite, big and dumb.
Saind if front on him and roll away as he rise his fist and havey attack as follow up
Warch for his spits, because if you get hit by explosion Crusher will hit you like a truck before you get up

Stalker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywVs2nV9ceQ

Cummunity favoritr teleporting dog :D
Soon as he sees you it will (mostly) do first harmless dash(horn dosent glowing)
When you see hes head/horn glowing prepera for 3 dash attack, Simply roll away as he slam ground before charging.
After that Stalker will stop glowing and this is your time to attack.
After 10 secound he will start glowing again and do 3 charge attack, rinse and repeat

Spitters can be 2 shot with heavy attacks using a basic level 1 axe.

Rippers can also be somewhat cheesed by locking on, heavy attacking and then simply walking backwards a little before heavy attacking again.
So long as you maintain a decent distance (they can't hit you but you can heavy them) you'll have plenty of time to recover Stamina and kill them without taking any damage.

Those are the only two enemies I've really found effective strategy for so far.
Unless you count see a Stalker run like F the other way an effective strategy lmao

For crusher: Haven't tried it, but the description of the sword reads that it needs 3 light attacks to build up attack power. I had the feeling, that if you heavy attack crusher pick axe is the best choice. I am still early in the game, but I am thinking about building first pick axe III instead of sword III so I can deal with crusher. Also heavy attack is my favourite .....

These are great videos but what about the Feeder? I can't find any helpful information on how to kill them.

@Squid Gamer:
You should be able to both block and dodge the Spitter's homing attack.

I did copy it. Still I think it's a poor design choice. It looks way too much like a Spell bolt from Wow.

As i siad, homming spits will lose track of you while you are rolling.
Just roll away when volt is around 2/3 metters of you. And those spits on video are homming.

I tried rolling it will actually spin around my body and still inflict the full impact damage and cause a knock down. Maybe it's a Glitch. I don't know.

The guide is outdated on Spitters. The homing Spit attack is not covered nor have I found a means to block or dodge it ingame.
