This guide will teach you the basics of CQC escaping the facility.

This guide is mostly for experienced players that have good control over their character and have been trained by Big Boss. Sometimes a single false step may lead the enemy right to your position exposing you, ringing alarm and destroying all the plans you had returning to mother base.

Following this guide will lead to following results:
  • Not getting bamboozled in SCP-914 chamber where your cards get stolen by Cipher agents (Rogue D-Bois or Mad Scientists)
  • Sneaking properly by PRESSING THE C BUTTON
  • An alternative more fun approach to escape the facility...
  • ... but it's also much harder then you might think
  • Relying on your ears. So you may turn up the game volume just a bit.
  • Some kind of feeling when to go and when to stay.
Stage 1 - Light containment.
Ok Boiss,
XOF has locked you down in their new facility where they will test some weird stuff for their parasite unit. You need to escape and warn mother base of their vicious wrongdoing.

D-Boi Ritual: The first thing u wanna do is to scream "D-BOI" after spawning. If there are other staff members they will show their sympathy by also shouting "D-BOI" several times. This way you can strengthen the empathy between the POWs, which may lead to further cooperation in future cases.

Finding the one of Heavy Containment Gate: The second thing that you need to do is to find out the location of one of the gates that leads to the heavy containment zone. If you find it early enough just hide in one of the corners and stay quiet. This is the point where you can open up the steam overlay and browse the web with your IDroid or do something else. You will only need your ears to rely on. Get back in game if you hear someone approach, but do not move. They do not know where you are. For now at least... If the entity opens the gate you will still have to wait 2-3 seconds for it to pass. After that tiny amount of time jump through the gates and proceed to the elevators.

Beware: Some professional SCP-Players tend to move the elevators upwards in order to trap you in Light Containment zone.
Stage 2 - Heavy Containment
Your priority in this zone is to find a card to become self-sufficient, so that you don't need to wait for someone else to open up the gates. As far as I know there are primarly three locations where cards can spawn.
  • In the "Server room".
  • In the "Alpha Warhead"
  • The most desired card spawn: SCP-096 spawn.
The cards in the two first locations are not going to help you much.
The card in the spawn of SCP-096 however is a MTF Commander Card (Tier 4) with which you can open the checkpoints as well as the gates that lead to the surface.

Bonus: If you plan for the future you can activate the Alpha Warhead ahead.
A Valid option: If you get your hands on a MicroHD, use it on the MTF and not on the SCPs. It is tricky to pull of, but if you do, you'll have a clear path and lots of loot.
Stage 3 - Entrance Hall
This is probably the most dangerous zone that you will encounter. The problem with this zone is that it is lit 🤣👌💯. That means there are no dark corners in which you can hide from the hazards. It is recommended to pass this one as fast as possible and as cautious as you can.

Bonus: You may search the cabinet at the utmost right from the screenshot. It may behold the Facility manager card, which gives you access to the Alpha Warhead Control Room
Stage 4 - Surface
Do not cheer for it is not over.
You still need to reach the exit.
But if you do congrats.
Hazards
SCPs
  • SCP-049 "The Plague Doctor": He is probably the most dangerous one for you, because the has no cooldown for his lethal left-click. He is slow though so you may outrun him.
  • SCP-096 "Skull Face": He helped Big Boss in Operation Snake Eater and did not get any attention. So looking down on him will result in a rage where he will try to annihilate you and mother base in a smoke screen. He will truly play you like a damn fiddle. Just don't look down on him. And if you do, find a elevator, which are his weakness. #SuchALustForRevenge
  • SCP-106 "The burned vicitim of vocal chord parasites": He is no real danger if you can juke him. He has a cooldown on his pocket dimension ability, so he shouldn't be a problem.
  • SCP-173 "Peanut": He spawns in light containment and will most probably stay there. You may not see him at all, but if you do, you should get rid of him fast.

MTF/NTF
They are the most dangerous hazard that you will encounter, because of their range in which they can inflict damage. Avoid them at all costs and if you can't, try to make a deal (which won't work in 99% of the cases).

Tips and final words
  • Who dares, wins.
  • There is no time limit. So sometimes it is recommended to wait out certain situations. (Like letting MTF/NTF pass through the entrance hall checkpoint in order to have a free path)
  • HOLDING C MAKES YOU SNEAK
  • Luring SCPs and MTF/NTF to each other is a good way to get rid of both of them.
  • You can try to persuade certain SCPs to spare you by telling them that you are more of an use to them when playing chaos. This tip comes from our fine mate rex4522.

Tell SCPs that if you escape you become Chaos and win with them it sometimes works but not on SCP 049
