There are many different MVPless skins from throughout the years (2015-2018). The autographs on these souvenirs are not scratched off, as they are dropped with only the two team stickers and the tournament sticker, and typically only contain the tournament the item was dropped from and the match it was dropped from in the description of the item (with the exception of MLG Columbus). The reason these items are dropped without MVPs is due to either a coach standing in for a player or to accidental case drops during warm up rounds and tactical timeouts. These skins that are dropped without a MVP tend to be rarer seeing that they drop only under specfic circumstances, typically only having around 150 cases per match they take place in. Due to the limited number of these cases that drop per match they take place in, souvenirs of the Resticted grade and above often tend to have only one or two dropped without a MVP.

Teamless Souvenirs are alot harder to come by seeing that only the 2013 DreamHack Major had teamless souvenirs, believed to be accidental or just test drops. To my knowledge it is unknown how many of these were dropped, but based on the small csgo fan/viewer participation (in comparison to current majors) alot less were dropped in comparison to MVPLess Souvenirs.

To tell if a skin is MVPLess or TeamLess you must check the yellow text of the gun in a steam inventory or on the market.

When these skin first did drop due to the stand in player Threat for NIP they were initially MVPLess, but for some reason Valve decided to add his player MVP to the description of the gun. Even tho no sticker was ever added.

DreamHack 2013 was the first Major for CSGO and brought a new edition of Souvenirs Packages and Skins to the game. These are assumed to be test drops drops for the major as no team was assigned them nor is there any explanation of why they were dropped.

DreamHack Cluj- Napoca 2015 was the first major to have MVPless souvenirs dropped.
These came from the semifinal match between EnVyUs and G2, where souvenir cases were accidentally dropped during the warmup, droping an estimated 118 cases without an MVP. The match took place on Inferno, and was the only match to have MVPless drops throughout the whole major.

MLG Columbus 2016 was the second major to have MVPless souvenir drops. This was due to Ninja's in Pajamas having their coach, Threat, stand in for their member Pyth, who was having visa issues at the time. These cases were only dropped whenever Threat received the MVP, and due to Threat not being a professional player for many years, there were very little that dropped. This is the only major that the coaches name was added to the description of the gun, when he was standing in for a player at the major.

Cologne 2016 was the second major of 2016 to have MVPless, with around 8 matches with MVPless drops. Most of these were due to Astralis having to sub in their coach, Zonic, for Dupreeh who was unable to play due to an infection.

The Boston 2018 major has the most MVPless souvenirs of any other major with over 15 different matches with MVPless drops. Most of these drops being due to the fact Team Liquid had their coach stand-in for their player Steel, who was unable to play due to visa issues.

FACEIT 2018 in London had several new MVPless souvenirs. The MVPless souvenirs this major were caused by stand-ins, round restarts, and technical difficulties. Team Space Soldiers MVPless cases are from their coach, Hardstyle, who had to stand-in due to visa issues.

How Many Dropped

MVPless souvenirs are hard to do find when you have no idea on what to look for when starting out. This area of the guide is designed to help you find them. While there are not many left on market from the majors you can still find them but when new majors happen is when this is most helpful but you must be a pretty active watcher of both the games and the market to know if they have dropped. For older majors there are very few rare skins on the market.
