'Goose' Survival Blueprint

Description
This is a modified version of the Goose blueprint, I've used merge blocks to join the front of the truck to the front of the trailer so you can project the whole thing in survival as one piece, all you need to do at the end is grind off the merge blocks... there might be a few other things that are needed too :P

For the full blueprint that you can paste in creative mode and it just works head here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1324766186

If you want this blueprint to work in survival, you'll need to also add the support jacks for the trailer and build most of the hitch mechanism yourself, sadly as these are subgrids and are also very small, they are not really practical for using merge blocks to add them to this blueprint. These blocks are highlighted pink in the screenshots above.

If you need help with getting that to work, I'll do my best, but make sure you have a look at the survival videos where I built them as then you'll see some of the areas that it's easy to make mistakes with :P

Hope you guys enjoy it :)

There are multiple grids because of the rotor heads on the rotors and the extendable legs, you can safely ignore that warning and just build those parts yourself as they're single blocks I didn't bother integrating them

@DissOnance if I recall correctly the multiple grid warning is because of the bottle all was past in with blueprints.. but if you want to make sure that is the case go on creative mode and copy and past without bothering yourself with the warning...

I'm still being told there's multiple grid, so this doesn't really work completely for survival

Hi Splitsie, Thanks for all your great content!
After playing a few days in un-modded vanilla Survival (and binging massively on your video library) I've decided to blueprint & project some pre-made vehicles. Hacking together vehicles one piece at a time with this clumsy mouse based interface has satisfied my masochism quota. (Perhaps someday they might implement a keyboard mode akin to From the Depths)...

Anyway, I love this Goose design and hope to run it around soon. Thanks again.

PS, I think the rover cockpit link from here points to an older obsolete version.

Always wanted to build this one. Now I have. I simplified a bit and used opposing hinges with connectors for hitching. Seems to work great so far. Now it will go great with perhaps the best sm grid atmo miner in the game "The Butter Ball" :selike:

It'll work just fine if you add mods like that after starting your world :)

Quick question here ... if you din’t have the rover cockpit pit mod when you stated your survival game then added afterwards so to use this BP will it still work properly or will you need to start a new game with the mods on???

Thanks for your time.

Nice build Splitsie! I've got one pressed into service as a Uranium hauler on Segovia:

Hey Splisie, Any chance you could describe how timer blocks should be set up? looks that they are missing 'pistons' (the one that we need to build our selfs) and some other actions. thx
