well turrets were originaly designed to help us.
they have face recognition as well.
I played a map recently, where their was a side ways light bridge.
the light bridge was between me & the turrets.
but my legs were visible to them.
they did not fire, untill I crouched low.
so that they had line of sight, of my head.
they still would not shoot my legs, when I stood back up.
