Changes
  • Prevents an AI defender from defaulting to a total war CB (the whole war defaults to total war) even if the attacker is not using a total war CB
  • Empires with pathetic fleets showing as equivalent in power can now be subjugated
  • Adds the Humiliation war goal to non-AI genocidal empires against Fallen Empires. In vanilla, genocidal empires can only respond with a total war CB. If they can't status quo or win the war, they're fully annexed. The mod fixes this for AI empires by forcing a non-total war CB but doesn't for the player. If you're planning to surrender to the FE, this CB lets you do that without losing the game.

Known Issues in Vanilla, Not Fixed by Mod
  • If an AI declares war on a player using a non-total war CB, the player can still respond with a total war CB. This makes it a total war. The player accepting the AI's war goal or surrendering to the AI wil lead to the player's annexation. This is harder to fix, the core behavior of wars exist outside of modifiable code. Since war goal validity cannot be conditional based on the attacker's war goal, it's impossible to disable the player's ability to respond with total war, nor is it preferable. This problem only affects players, not AIs.

Obsolete and Removed
  • Total War Colossus CB no longer locks out other CBs (Liberation, Subjugation, etc) - (d07e)
  • Can make and press claims while having a Colossus - (5e2f)

not working anymore for beta 2.1.1, if enemy empire got pathetic fleet power but higher fleet capacity I can no longer demand tribute/vassalization

I don't think this mod is relevant anymore, since I think the things it fixed have been rolled into the base game now (finally).

Version 2.0.3 is out now so you should change the version number to that or 2.0.x so the error icon dissapears from the launcher :)

if it's heavily modded, one of the mods might be running an old version of game_rules, which would overwrite the new can_add_claim rules. try it without running any mods

People around me have the colossus perk but didn't actually make colossi, so I can't make claims on them.
