First things first: Special thanks are due to Ulrich Budde of www.Bundesbahnzeit.de, for permitting to use his photos for textures. This mod would not have been possible otherwise. If you like classic German railways, you really should go and have a look at his homepage.


Now, here's some heavy machinery for ya!

The BR150, while still being counted as a part of the standardized engeines ("Einheitsloks"), was by far the one deviating the furthest from that standard. It was several meters longer than the others, had twice the number of motors and, most notably, six axles instead of four. It was designed for heavy cargo services.

It is shown here in the 1950's green livery, pulling 21 coal hoppers.
