Spawn Airboat 
Open the console 
Put sv_cheats 1 into the console 
Type ent_setname airboat 
Type ent_fire airboat enablegun 1

Spawn Airboat
well its obvious spawn your airboat in the spawn menu under the vehicles tab.
Open the console
you might have trouble with this if so google garrys mod console or find a tutorial or ask me.
Put sv_cheats 1 into the console
Type sv_cheats 1 into the console to activate cheats (to activate to make things accesible).
Type ent_setname airboat
Type ent_setname airboat dunno why you have to do it.
Type ent_fire airboat enablegun 1
Type ent_fire airboat enablegun 1 to enable the gun.
Done
Now you have the airboat and it does work.
