Introduction

Cardinal Cross is a romantic visual novel featuring 26 Steam achievements.

You can skip unseen text by enabling the feature in the options menu. I recommend turning timed choices off. Following this guide will not unlock all CGs.

First Playthrough

Important: Always choose the first answer whenever you have to decide between three options.

This achievement unlocks after the route - when the title screen appears. You can try it again after deleting your save files but you will lose your CG progress if you don't make a backup. The files are located in:

...\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\CardinalCrossSaves and in the game's local files:
...\CardinalCross\game\saves

I won't make a guide for the CGs. It took a very long time to make this guide and my intention was to make a concise and optimized guide for achievements only.

For some reason, the Going Places trophy didn't unlock even though I did as the guide said and Lana officially became the Ambassador. Also, could we get a guide for all the CGs in the future? I'm missing about 9 of them.

I had an issue getting Egon to trust me choosing all the first options as well -- I don't know why but the only way I was able to get it was by going through and save scumming to always pick the dialog choice that would make him the most interested.

I've tested the first playthrough, made some adjustments regarding the unlock positions of some achievements and removed an unnecessary save. But I did not change any of the choices and I did obtain the achievements. It is extremely important to constantly choose the first option during the first playthrough, even a single different choice can change the relationships.
