Explorer of the Abyss

Jump in every pit

Tip (thx to Look for pointing that out): In Chapter 7 there´s a small hole on the left at the start of the chapter. You have to jump in there. (see screenshot down below)

Easy Decission

Don´t resist when you´re getting sucked in by the portal in chapter 18

Return

In the same chapter (18) resist the pull of the portal and go around the portal to the hospital bed

Click the inscription saying "Do not touch" in the main menu, until you get the achievement
Beware the jumpscare and don´t get a heart attack! ;D

All in all the game has 9 secret places and 18 hidden sphere keys (one in every chapter). I will use Nicks video for this guide. He created the video, because making screenshots was to complicated. Just ignore the Russian text, the time stamps are next to the video.

Find the secret place in chapter 15

Secret Code

Enter the secret code in the chapter selection screen. The code consists of 24 digits. You get four digits at every secret place. After you have entered the code three new levels will be unlocked.

For all you that are too lazy to search and write the codes down, here you go: 5794 6416 2566 4572 5081 1283

Finish all the secret levels

To start you have to select the robot in the options, so a checkmark appears next to him.
Than you start chapter 2 and search for 9 little robots and lead them to the exit. All robots must pass the light for the achievement to be unlocked.

Just want to point out that for "Explorer of the Abyss", you only need to jump into at least one pit, not every pit in the game. I got mine at the Chapter 7 pit pictured above.

no no.. I appreciate your work putting together this guide.. I just got a little frustrated. Glad for your responses anyway, because it made me go back and figure it out. Thanks for putting this guide together, and I hope you make lots of other guides for small indie games.

@tuxdelux I am sorry. this guide is almost three years old and I do not care about it anymore tbh. I think it is good enough to leave it as such BUT the video is faulty I admit that... I forgot and didnt check so my bad. I apologize for my arrogance but i dont care to fix it. If you are in the mood to answer questions under a three year old guide of a small indie game I can make you author if you want... ;)

I played through the level again a few times more, and there is a jump in the video. The video fades-out and skips over: falling to the teleporter below, going down the stairs, collecting the two keys, opening the door, and running past the golem. Only after leaving the darkened golem area does the player see the pipes and blue sphere, which appears at 4:39 in the video. (but hey, thanks for saying the same thing over and over... super helpful.)

@tuxdelux Im afraid I dont know how to help you... :/ 4:12 shows how to get to the secret room. there you see the code for "secret code" achievment. then you get teleported back to the level where you can get the sphere key starting at 4:39

no, I watched it again. you look at the code, the screen fades, and you are in a room with a big pipe. you did not jump down, after seeing the code.

the numbers are in the secret room you get teleported to, when you pick up that glowy thing after jumping down.
