Welcome to your suite! Your suite is your very own, almost like a little snowflake, except it's made of rock solid plaster. In your suite, you're able to watch videos on the TV with your friends, listen to music, play games, even surf the web if you own an iMac with internet.

However, by first glace it seems a bit empty. Let's change this.


You can purchase items from a variety of stores in the Tower. However, the primary stores for obtaining furniture and building materials are located in, well, the furniture and building stores. This shop can be found in the entertainment plaza, as well as the suites section. The image to the left shows the Furniture store located in the Entertainment plaza. You can also find other stores in the entertainment plaza, such as the souviner and electronics store. You can obtain a variety of other purchasable items from there, but let's focus on the former. The furniture store is used to purchase furniture such as couches, beds, chairs, desks, you get the idea. The building store, however, is used for purchasing building blocks and other objects for creating a variety of layouts within your suite. They're esentially PHX blocks for building. Let's take a look inside these stores.

Once you're in the store, you can press use on these lovely employees to open up the buy menu.


This is the buy menu. All stores in the Tower are set up in this format: Preview on the left, item descriptions on the right. You can see prices of items to the left of the window.

To purchase an item, simply click on the price, and a confirmation window will open. Select yes, and a transaction will occur. If you have insufficient funds, it will notify you and you will not recieve the item. Simple economics. If you're wondering how to earn GMC, play gamemodes!

Great! We've got our stuff. Let's go stick it in our suite.

Sign into your suite via the suite lady if you haven't done so already:

When you're ready to place your item, simply hold Q, and your inventory will appear. Look for your item you wish to place, and simply hold down and drag the item to where you'd like to place. A green ghost of the object will appear over your cursor. Still holding down the mouse, move the object to the desired position and release the mouse to place the object.

Note: If an object's ghost is red, it will not be placed due to the item being in an illegal position. This includes things like going through walls, or other objects.


To rotate an object, simply scroll your mouse wheel while in placement mode.




There you have it! You've nailed the basics of placing objects in your suite. From here, you can start to build your very own unique suite to show off to your friends. With the intuitive build system, you're able to get a pretty sweet layout going, like mine:
