1. Must be friends on UPlay.
2. Both players must have completed the initial tutorials (take over middle island).
3. Once initial tutorial is complete, a message will appear bottom left of screen saying you are now able to play online missions.
4. Open in-game menu (the one which contains the map) go to the icon which looks like circular cross hairs and add friend into game.

NOTE: Only hosts campaign will progress.
