Description
This is the latest addition to my tank fleet, the Vanguard III Main Battle Tank.

It has been developed with new experience gained during the march tank event held by the awesome admins of the Space Engineers Tank Battles group.

Some of the changes and improvements to the mk. 3 version of the Vanguard are a one block lower hull, highly improved gun depression over the front and sides of the tank hull, increased redundancy concerning MART script and better ramming protection (in case a biased Sergey heavy tank comes thundering towards you).

Huge thanks to Whiplash and MMaster for their incredible scripts, which allow us to build cool stuff!

Block count: 1266
Top speed: 60 kph (limited), as according to the SETB event rules, can be increased of course

|Features|
- Mouse-controlled turret (MART Script) by Whiplash

- Gyro-assisted Skid Steering (Skid Steering System v12 fix[github.com]) by Whiplash

- Info-LCDs (MMaster´s Automated LCDs 2)

- Turret Camera with Bearing LCD Planetary Bearing & Compass by Whiplash

- Rangefinder via the Raycast Rangefinder Script[github.com] by Whiplash

- 128mm Main Cannon (from the 128mm Cannons mod, you can add a vanilla rocket launcher too)
-fully stabilized, 23 degrees gun depression, 27 degrees gun elevation

- coaxial Gatling Gun (vanilla)

-secondary Gatling Gun on the turret, line up with the main gun

- point defence gatling turret (vanilla)

- Warning System scanning for unknown objects within 50m vicinity

- 5 Cameras (Gunsight, Backup Sight/Rangefinder, Turret Backup Sight, Rangefinder Results View, Reversing Camera)

- Decoy System on top of the turret

- Jumpstart Reactor for Survival (however you have to spawn in the tank via Admin Tools because of the tracks used)

- Repair Projectors, Laser and Crosshair Projectors, Gun Laying and Turret Ring covered with projectors

You need to have scripts enabled in your world, then just make sure the rotors are unlocked ( they should be by default ) and get in the cockpit.

I have no clue to be honest, for me the turret works perfectly fine right after spawning it in... did you enable scripts in your world?

Noob question: Do I have to do anything special to rotate the turret, or is something broken on my end?

I do have a recovery vehicle and I plan to release updated versions of all my tank on the new Vanguard III chasis. I´ve also thought about building a mine clearer, but haven´t gotten around to doing it so far. Hmmmm maybe even a mine clearer but how would i even do that... And mines arent very popular in space engineers are they?

Thanks! Do you have a recovery vehicle in your HVK series? Since im thinking of making a recovery vehicle out of this ah the hull is suitable for this. Ofcourse if you are working on one il just cancel the idea no troubles ;)

And without the armor extension mod it looks like a 2A4 with a flatter front and the mentlet of the 2A7+ xD (Installs Armor extention just to have the more modern look)
