6 - Built queue

Yellow arrow is ready and waiting.
*You can spawn waiting units in any base.
Animated is currently built.
Greyed out is waiting in line.
Green means deploying

*There is an option to change auto deploy in Settings > Gameplay
7 - *Domination Countdown
Originally posted by Areyouwhy:
This only appears when all outposts on the map are controlled by one team. The other team enters the "domination" state. A timer will count down from 30 seconds, and your Fort will begin to take damage when it runs out
To exit this state, at least one outpost on the map must be neutralized and taken out of rival team’s control
During domination, the dominated team gains double credit income
Domination deals 400 damage every 4 seconds.
8 - Minimap
Shows areas around your units. Other areas will have fog of war.

Planes are mechs

Crosses in a box are Fortresses

Squares are outposts

Dots are units

*Grey colored shapes are neutrals. Mutual enemies.
9 - Current Loadout
At the beginning of the match you can choose 2 of your loadouts to use. And swap them in game. But you can only built from your current loadout.
You can switch between loadouts any time when you press, change loadout.
And you can use hotkeys to built without clicking them manually.

*If you use Command key while building a unit, it will auto deploy that unit in that base where the order was given even if your mech is not there. It will also prioritize and ignore the normal queue to build your unit.
10- Your credits
Replenishes itself slowly over time. The slightly darker hue number with a plus “+” before it means the income per second. The more outposts you have the more money you get.
Special unit “Money Maker” adds to the process and stacks up (only if it’s socketed).
*Healing units will also salvage fallen units to earn money.
11- Unit upkeep

The current and max army size. Max size grows by each added outpost.
Special unit “Whopper” adds to the process and stacks up(only if it’s socketed).
12- Experience
Depending on it you will gain a level and an amount of ability points.
*Ability points are hidden values. If you choose to hold onto it you can choose more demanding abilities later on. But the 4th Ability slot is level capped. So no matter how much you stack. You can’t unlock it unless you reach level 6.
13- Abilities
This part is different according to every mech.
From button assignment to that ability being either passive or active.
Most abilities demand a manual button press to be activated.

*Clicking them with the mouse will activate them if there are no points to spent. If you have spare ability points, it will level-up the ability but won’t activate it.

Pressing the hotkey for an ability while having points will result in both adding to that ability and activating it.

**The first level of an ability unlocks it. 0 level means you can’t use it.

*** Most abilities will have a cool down timer.
This will not reset when your mech gets destroyed.
14- Unit Commands
(From left to right)
Fallback (Blue Shield): Return to closest base and defend that base.

Hold position (White Square): Units won’t move.
*Except “Hero”s. They will fly to the closest wounded mech.

Follow (Green Cross): Units will follow your mech. No matter where you are.
*Following units have three other sub orders.
  • Stop following (Hand Sign). Same as hold position
  • Follow mech(Man sign) repeat follow command for units in range
  • Go to waypoint(arrow sign) units will go where you click your mouse
**Deployed units will have this default behavior “follow” unless configured else from the settings.

Capture: Units will go to nearest non allied outpost and try to take and hold it.
Once successfully captured they will turn to hold position mode

Attack(Red Swords): Attack fortress directly. They will totally disregard any enemies on route and focus on the outposts. Unlike capture command they won’t even attempt to return fire but concentrate solely on fortress destruction.

15-Chat: Even in game you can use the chat as normal. But unlike in main screen, one press to enter message starts to write it. Second press sends it and gives control back to your game.
GAMEPLAY
The purpose of the game is to Destroy the opposing teams Fortress. (The biggest base)

You will have your Mech. A powerful special unit with special abilities. But even a mech alone is not enough to destroy a fortress on it’s own or win the game singlehandedly.

That’s where your units come in. Units are your main force here. A good play consisting of units and mechs is the key to victory.

Like your mech, units themselves will have various abilities and uses. Some are better against mechs while others are better against other units.
With both your units and mech you can capture outposts to achieve your goal easier.
As every captured outpost gives more credits, unit upkeep, and map presence.

Let’s learn more about Mechs first. Mechs have two forms. Air and ground mode.
They also behave differently in Air or ground. Their stats completely change including attack and defense. All mechs are generally slower on ground while moving.

TIPS & TRICKS
Tank units get more damage from the back.

In general, everything has different armoring depending on every direction.

Shooters will attack and eliminate any threat above every command.

Healing units can detect mines, traps and disarm them.

A half damaged unit, is a half death unit.

Holding units over a base heals them in exchange of base energy.

Armor on a unit is vital for it’s survival rate, but not necessarily.

Using turrets on sockets auto heals them. And grants a small buff.

Did you know, the fortress has four sockets on it’s own.

You can scrap dying and useless units for credits by holding it over one of your bases and pressing and holding space button.

Assassins and Butchers have high damage output, but only if they can get close enough.

One healing unit is a sad and lonely healing unit.

No unit is obsolete. Even probe has it’s uses. Experiment.

Training with Natasha might prove useful for testing things out.

Necro can revive any fallen unit. Anything. But dies itself in the process.

Healing units only heal other units. Hero is able to heal mechs, but not units.

Hero is a diligent healer. But prone to sacrifice itself. “HERO”

You lose the booster if you land even once. Or run out of energy.

Repair and Blaster guardians need energy to operate.

You can pick up multiple units at a time from the field by holding “space bar” down

Even a giant mech can jump or dash to dodge attacks.

Units face that direction where you are facing when you drop them.

"A lot of things have a tool tips, hover over every object for a second"

“You need in game tool tips enabled in the options to see some stat breakdowns by hover over. ”
Game has collision detection. If you get cover, you might avoid incoming fire.

Because Airmech is a 3D game, shots will hit anything they collide with, even if it not the original target

There is a maximum unit hard cap (number of units on the field independent of upkeep) - this number varies per map

Income rates scale down per format: 1v1 - 100%, 2v2 - 80%, 3v3 – 70%

Press Z once to ping your mech's dynamic location (the ping flag will move with your mech)

Press Z twice to ping your mech's current map location (static, flag dropped at mech's location)

Each Airmech has different respawn cost.

The more you die, the longer it takes to respawn.

Dying can cause you to go into negative credits due to respawn cost

Enemy players gain more experience if they kill you with their mech, less if their units kill you, and zero if neutrals units kill you

Standing completely stationary in ground mode for 3 seconds greatly increases health and energy regeneration

Upon a level-up, Mechs replenish some HP and energy

Multiple friendly Saucers abducting together speeds up abduction

Abduct progress is not completely wiped when abduction stops, it diminishes slowly

Abducted enemy units can be sold for full credit cost

Abducted neutral units sell for zero credits

Creeps
Creeps that spawn from the fortress upgrade every 5 minutes 3 times until the 15 minute mark and stop upgrading after hitting level 4
Different numbers of creeps spawn per wave from the Fort depending on the map.
