Accessing The Console, ULX Menu, Damagelogs and RDM Manager:
There are 6 things you may/will need to know about:
  • The Developer Console
  • The ULX Menu.
  • The Damagelogs.
  • The RDM Manager.
  • The "Warn" Plugin (explained later).
  • The "Simple Notes" Plugin (explained later).

Developer Console:

The console shows almost everything. In the picture, you can see the chat, the Admin chat, and the odd notification but it can also show you errors and information.

To gain access to the Developer Console you have to go into:
Options > Keyboard > Advanced... > "Enable Developer Console"

Once you have done all that you can press the "Grave Accent" [`] which is the character to the left of number 1 (on a UK/US keyboard layout) where the "Developer Console" has opened up.

The ULX Menu:

The window shown above is the ULX Menu. It is an easy window to navigate and it basically explains itself with some commands like !kick and !whip.

To access this you can type "!menu" into the chat and it should appear however if you want to open it with ease you can do either of the two:
  • Open the console and type "bind <Key Character> "ulx_menu""
    It doesn't put anything in chat.
  • Open the console and type "bind <Key Character> "say !menu""
    It puts "!menu" in chat.

The Damagelogs:

Press "F8" to open the Damagelogs.

With it, you can use this tool to see what happened in the specific round. If you right-click on the death of a person you can select "Show Death Scene" and rewatch what happened. It's a pretty useful and a must-have tool to do your work as staff. You will get used to it pretty quickly.

As a helpful tip, I recommend you set your filters as what are shown below. To change your filters open the Damagelogs and click "Filters" to the side under "Round selection/filters":

Auto Slays = "Tick"
DNA = "Tick"
Body Identifications = "Tick"
Suicides = "Tick"
C4 = "Tick"
Grenade Throws = "Tick"
Kills = "Tick"
Disguisings = "Tick"
Teleports = "Cross"
Role Purchases = "Cross"
Weapon Purchases = "Cross"
Traps = "Tick"
Credit Changes = "Cross"
Damages = "Tick"
KOS Radio Commands = "Tick"
Heath Station Usage = "Cross"
Standard Radio Commands = "Tick"
Fall Damages = "Tick"

RDM Manager:

When a player gets reported you will get a small drumroll and an indication in the top right corner of Player X reported Player Y. Once the "Reported Player" has replied then you can press "F8" and go to the "RDM Manager" tab where you will be presented with all sorts of information.
How to work with the RDM Manager
When a report gets created wait until the reported player has answered to the report and for the victim's decision if he wants to keep the report or forgive the reported player. The report is ready to be dealt with when its status is "waiting" and the "response status" is "Attacker responded". You can then select the report and set its Status to "In Progress".

You will want to select the report you want to review and deal with and make it "In Progress" by clicking on "Actions" in the top right corner then choosing the only option. Now every Staff knows you are dealing with this report. Please only deal with reports which are tagged as yours to avoid a mess.

Now it is time to deal with the report. How many slays you need to add for something will be explained later. Then you are finished with a report set its status to "Finished".

Remember that if a higher staff member thinks that someone should be slain for something, listen to them.

How to add a slay:
Method1:
To add a slay rightclick the report -> Slay Next Round -> Choose between "Victim" or "Reported Player" -> Select amount of slays -> Click on "Set reason" -> Now type in the reason for example "RDM | Maybe explain something here"

Method 2:
Type in chat: !aslay name AmountOfSlays "Reason"

Screenshot to be changed

You can also open up a chat with the user, where you can privately discuss it with members of the report and anyone else you decide to add.
The "Warn" Plugin
You can access the warn plugin by typing !warn into chat. To add a warn to someone right click their name on the right and select "warn".

You should warn for pretty much every punishable act, as well as when they have been kicked or banned:
  • RDM
  • False KOS
  • L2AP
  • Not talking in English
  • Ban Evading
  • Ghosting
  • Spamming
  • Disrespect
  • Lying in Report
The "Simple Notes" plugin

The Simple Notes plugin is used to add notes to a player for example if you suspect someone Ghosting simply add a note to him so you and other staff can remember it. Only staff members can see notes.

To access it, open the ULX Menu, and then navigate over to "Simple Notes".
When to Punish Someone:
Explanations:
  • RDM = Random Death Match
  • T RDM = Traitor Random Death Match
  • D RDM = Detective Random Death Match
  • DIR = Disrespect In Report
  • LIR = Lying In Report
  • IRR = Incorrect Report Reply

When Should I Slay Someone? + Amounts:
When A Role Kills A Role:
      [Innocent] RDM - 1 slay.
      Detective RDM - 2 slays.
      Traitor RDM - 2 slays.
      Attempted RDM - 1 slay.

What Counts As RDM? - Use The Role RDM's Above:
  • If a player prop damages / kills - Damage = Attempted | Killed = RDM
  • If someone causes a player to drown.
  • If someone has called out a false KOS, and then the player who was falsely KOS'd died, the KOSer will be slain.
  • A Traitor activates a Traitor Trap but doesn't call it out.
  • Pushing a player off a cliff - Damage = Attempted | Killed = RDM
  • Goomba-Stomping [crushing] - Damage = Attempted | Killed = RDM

Other Reasons To Slay:
  • If a Traitor calls out themselves or their T buddies as proven - 1 slays
  • Invalid / Incorrect Report Reply - 1 slay.
  • Lying in their report - 1 slay.
  • False reports - 1 slay.
  • Disrespect in report - 1 slay.
  • Leaving To Avoid Punishment - 1 slay.
  • When a Traitor KOS' a player - 1 slay.

When Should I Kick Someone?:
  • Continuation of spamming after gag / mute.
  • Harassing players and staff.
  • Disrespecting players and staff.
  • Not talking in English.
  • AFK.
  • Constantly making false reports.
  • Staff disrespect - Down to the staff member if they should kick first.

Why Should I Ban Someone? + Times:
  • RDM + LTAP - 1 day ban.
  • 2x RDM + LTAP - 3 days ban.
  • Mass RDM is a 1 week ban.
  • Mass RDM + LTAP - 2 week ban.
  • Every RDM more than 3 is an additional 3 days on top of that ban.
  • Ignorning warns and kicks - 1 day ban.
  • Ghosting is a 2 week ban - Look it through with another member of staff to be sure.
  • Constant staff disrespect - It's down to the staff member to choose the ban length.
  • Ban Evade / Avoid - 2 months extended on main account, and a perm on their alt.
  • Threatening players or the server with DDoS', Doxing and so on is a 2 month ban.
  • Committing the criminal offense of DDoSing, Doxing and anything alike is a perma ban.
  • Hacking - Perma ban

Staff-Related Issues:
  • If you mess up and slay the wrong person and they died because of it, then you will have to slay yourself for how many rounds he had died.
  • Use common sense for anything that is not displayed here - Think: Ban or Kick? Length and reason.
  • If you're unsure of what to do, don't be afraid to ask for help and advice.

Notes For Dummies:
  • Mass RDM - 3 or more kills [in a single round].
  • "Leaving To Avoid Punishment" can be written as; L2AP, LTAP, LTA or L2A.
  • RDM and LTAP are the most common type of ban.
  • IRR means "Invalid / Incorrect Report Reason".
  • LIR means "Lying in Report".
  • DIR means "Disrespect in Report".
  • Traitor and Detective RDM is the same as RDM x2.
Getting a Steam ID
There are a few ways to grab a ID of a player, below are the ways to do this.

The Logs:

Let's say the player "Supreme" RDM'd the player "Еđď", and I need to grab the ID of "Supreme" to ban him. In order to do this I need to right click the line of the incident and then hover over "Copy", and as long as you don't copy anything else, it'll stay in your clipboard.

SteamIDFinder:

With the same incident as before, if you need someone's ID you can alway get it from going to SteamIDFinder.com and pasting their profile link into the bar. You're given multiple varients, but what you're after is the top one, "Steam ID".
How to Kick/Ban
Kicking Someone:
If you want to kick someone, open the ULX Menu and then go to Utility, select kick, chose the player you want to punish and then specify a reasoning.

However, you can kick a player by typing !kick [Player] [Reason] in chat.

Banning Someone:

Banning someone is the last step you should take. First, try to talk to him change him and warn him.
But when you need to ban you can access it in the same way you kick someone. Open the ULX Menu and then go to Utility, though this time, select ban, chose the player you want to punish; else you can enter a Steam ID, and then specify a reason and set the desired length.

However, you can ban a player by typing !ban [Player] [Length] [Reason] in chat.
Whipping and Slaying
Whipping will require a higher input then 1 and a lower input of 101 for amount slapped for. Damage can be any number. Whipping will cause the player to be slapped [usually causing them to be launched] a number of times for the said amount of damage until the die or the slaps reach end. You shouldn't really need to whip.

Slapping only requires a target. It usually causes them to move a few pixels and the screen to shake meaning no real harm can be done. If the target is in the air and you slap them, they will be launched, take caution!
