Things I've Learned about the Level Editor that Aren't Posted
By Cosmik the Angry
This guide primarily talks about the Level Editor's size limit and item limit but I'll update it to include more information as I find it.

Level Editor Size Limits and Camera Limits
When the level editor is set to 16 X 16 size, meaning that one grid spot can fit one block, the grid is 40 blocks Wide by 24 blocks tall. We'll be using this grid size to explain the limits beyond the grid or for easier terms 1 block or the default level editor grid size.

Width
  • Grid Size 40 Blocks
  • 103 Blocks to the Left of the Grid
  • 113 Blocks to the Right of the Grid
  • This makes the total Size for Width equal 256 Blocks

Height
  • Grid Size 24 Blocks
  • 61 Blocks Upward from the Grid *You can place out more blocks but the camera will freeze beyond this point*
  • 121 Blocks Downward from the Grid
  • This makes the total Size for Height equal 206 Blocks (256 With a fixed Camera)

Camera and Block Rendering
  • As stated above the camera will stop panning and freeze in place once you reach *62 blocks above the grid making it a soft level boundary.
  • An easy way to see the level boundaries is to use scaffolds in a straight line as they will stop rendering as one large platform and show up as their individual forms. This works for other blocks as well but is easier to notice with the scaffolding. *NOTE: This method doesn't work for level height as the camera stops panning before the blocks stop rendering*
Block / Item Limits
I haven't been able to do much testing on this but I know for a fact that when I try to make a map that exceeds about 300 to 400 blocks the world file becomes corrupted and unopenable. If I get the chance I'll try to find an exact number and update this guide.
