Since either the last update or the update before, I've noticed a change in Os install times in relation to a disk's write speed. Eventually, I came up with the idea to record each time with a stopwatch and graph them for ease of viewing as part of a guide - this guide. Let's move onto the results, shall we?
Os install times and disk value
Below is a chart of the Os installation times for each write speed available.

Contrary to what I expected, the graph is not a linear function. Nevertheless, this information proves useful.

After this, I decided to find the value for each disk using the formula Value = Speed/Cost using the cheapest disks from every category. Those disks are:

Write Time
Disk
140MB/s
Mortoni EZStore 500GB
150MB/s
Mortoni EZStore 250GB
160MB/s
Mortoni EZStore 120GB
190MB/s
Seaagte BarraCuda 4TB
210MB/s
Seagate BarraCuda 500MB
150MB/s
Mortoni EZStore 250GB
480MB/s
Shean Mega 60GB
As you can see, the Mortoni 120GB and Shean Mega 60GB tie for value, though, the Shean Mega has exactly 3 times the write speed as the 120GB, if you're willing to spend 3 times the money (60 compared to the Mortoni 120's 20) is up to personal preference.
Closing Remarks
Why did I make this guide? I made it so I could help the large community surrounding this game and to deepen their understanding of the game's inner workings and simply out of passion for the game itself and I sincerely apologize for any formatting errors in this guide as I have tried and tried again to fix them to no avail. I will update this guide in the future if more write speeds are added and I have the time and energy for such a task. If you have any questions, just message me or leave a comment here.

Until next time.

Absolutely essential for keeping your install times low as well as your costs. I am constantly making sure I have at least 6x Shean Mega 60GB drives in my inventory at all times for builds!!!

I'm glad it helped. I don't play PCBS as much as I previously did, so I doubt the guide will ever be updated, but I might continue work on it if I ever do.
