Driven Assimilators, New Traditions

Deskripsi
This mod replaces the 'Domination' tradition tree for Driven Assimilator empires with a new one called 'Amalgamation'. The new tree is similar to the 'Purity' one found in Fanatical Purifiers and other permanently-hostile empires.

Amalgamation Traditions description:

Adoption effect: -25% Clear Blocker Cost (same as Purity)

Quasi-Organic AI: +2 Empire Leader Capacity, +2 Governor Level Cap (same as Colonial Viceroys tradition)

Total Neural Integration: assimilating pops generates physics, engineering and additional unity (in addition to society research and unity)

Genetic Manipulation Nanites: +1 Trait Point (for biological species), -15% Species Modification Time

Never Surrender: +10% Starbase Hull Points, +50% Defense Army Health (also found in Purity tree)

Planetary Surface Optimization: -50% Resettlement Cost (same as Appropriation tradition)

Finish effect: +10% Unity (same as Purity)

Can someone revive this mod? With a new tradition that would give cybornetic pops +60% habitability on machine worlds

Does this overwrite anything?

In the mod's current state, the only changes are for Driven Assimilator stuff. If you mean the science/unity reward change, the one for Devouring Swarms is a separate item (I didn't change that.

I'm considering expanding this mod to give unique traditions for more of the unique civics, since many were removed in 2.2 (i.e. Fanatic Purifiers lost the 'Purity' tree), but I'm waiting for PDX to fix more of the current patches' problems (in case traditions are altered again along the way).

Thanks for the tip about the 'scripted_effects' and 'traditions.gfx' files, that change is in the new update. Hopefully, it should have better compatibility now.

Also, which format are you talking about for the .dds files? I am using Photoshop with the Nvidia plugin for dds files, but I can't find which encoding type you're refering to. Several of them list 'ARBG', but the DXT3 format is the only one that's been working for me so far.

@DDRussian
Your mod contains the whole vanilla 00_scripted_effects file with only a small modification in the middle. This causes large incompatibility issues with mods that replace parts of this file or the vanilla game itself that uses parts that Isn't in your 00_scripted_effects file as it has been changed in the latest update. To fix this problem rrename the file to something else and erase everything in it except the generate_cyborg_treats part, as that part is needed for your mod to work. The same issue also applies to your traditions.gfx file.

Plus would it also be possible to change the two included image files to the RGBA DDS format instead of DXT3? The current format you are using for them is quite lossy and is causing blockyness in the images. Exporting your original pictures to RGBA DDs woould cause them to look better even if it is a small change.

@Roark I haven't changed anything in the files specifically for Collossi. I will check this and update the mod if necessary. Thanks for pointing that out for me.

Does Total Neural Integration work with Nanobot Diffuser?

Good job! Could you do a compatability with eutab mod? Eutab is connected with original perks, so it shouldn't be working properly (unless you only changed names for the user side).
