Video Tutorials for Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations

This is a list of video tutorials for CMANO including the standard ones plus others that I believe would be most useful. There wasn't a very complete single list of the most significant video tutorials anywhere that I could find so I decided to create one.

The first part of the guide lists videos related to gameplay, while the second part lists videos related to scenario editing and creation. Finally there is a list of channels with more videos that I didn't single out for special attention.

I did not create any of these myself so no credit for the videos themselves goes to me.

These videos are all in English. For other languages, look for a similar guide tagged with the desired language. (I did not wish to mix more than one language in a single guide as this will just make things harder to find.) There are actually many videos in other languages.

Official Gameplay Tutorial and Demo Videos
First, here are the official tutorial/demo videos related to gameplay (as opposed to scenario editing). These are good for an overview but for the most part don't play along with the tutorial scenarios.

These are actually a little out of date and don't cover any features added to the game since v1.06 (12/17/2014).

These are videos of playthroughs for some of the tutorial scenarios. These are good for those who want more information than the tutorials provide by themselves. Right now the newer tutorial scenarios aren't covered by any English language videos that I have found.

Installing the Community Scenario Pack
It's now possible to just install this by subscribing to it in Steam Workshop but this is how to do it manually if needed.

Channels and Playlists
I've only tried to include specific videos and playlists in this guide that seemed most significant.

So here is a list of channels with significant amounts of CMANO content in case you want to seek out more videos. If you find any that you think I should include here (especially any that follow the newer tutorial scenarios) please let me know in the comments section.

  • Baloogan's Playlists - Baloogan has probably made more CMANO videos than anyone.
  • Baloogan Campaign[baloogancampaign.com] - This is Baloogan's web site which contains a lot of material including links to his videos.
  • Jeff Shapiro has some tutorials and sandbox demos
  • Stoic Frog Gaming has playthrough videos of various DLCs
  • Kushan Gaming has DLC playthrough videos and some live scenario design videos
  • A Cloudy Sheep has a detailed tutorial-like playthrough of Canary Cage
  • Bunyap Sims has a lot of playthroughs of standalone scenarios which are unfortunately not in a playlist I can link to
