One building, unadorned (there are four in the attached image), it will snap to itself (sort of)....

If you plonk one down on a Low Res plot 3 or 4 squares wide at one end of it, the next plopped one will drop a house width (1 square) away beside it and then the third will happily plop neatly between them. I don't think I can explain it better than that, but make a long strip of Low Res and you will be able to plop a decently sized W2W terrace with them.

Looks good in game. Great for plonking down near the larger and posher High Res Georgian houses on the workshop for a terrace for not quite do well off but still comfortable Cims.
