We absolutely need Lantern effect for getting the Mask of Fear.
And umbrella for Hat and Scarf (it will be long way to go... or should I better say to fly?)

Our destination points will be: Pink Sea for the Fear Mask and Snow world for Hat and Scarf. The second one is the same as original Yume Nikki. There will be a tiny problem just to enter Snow World, lol.

Original names of items can be different, I'm playing the game translated.


Yukionna. Mafurako, the shy girl wearing scarf and hat (so we'll undress her ;))


1. Block World.

First, we need to beat Mafurako's game in the Block World. Some will find it easy, some will flush off their gamepads in toilets.

Go sleep and enter the Sewers door. Go right, down and down. To the right down corner of that map. And use stairs to enter the Block World.


Talk to that shy Mafurako girl and watch the animation how one of door's puzzle parts is activated. You realise already that you will have to activate all these columns :) Ok, so the game's rules are easy: find the girl, approach her and talk to her. It's platformer genre of the game. Ride platforms, jump and use umbrella to jump higher and glide.

Notice two major things in the Block world. First is Black monument - it will show you Mafurako (so you can guess where does she hide). Second is the toilet cabin. It will turn your Madotsuki to another direction (change point of view, it will be very helpful).

If you have the troubles... Sorry, Imma lazy butt, so go to youtube, few people already made a bunch of walkthrough videos. Just a little tip: you don't see highest platforms from the ground

If you didn't burn your chair and finished all the columns, the door will open and...

2. Welcome to Snow world

It's huge or looped world full of pine trees and snow. Also you can find there some snow. And don't forget to walk through some snow.
When you are already sick of seeing all this snow and don't always walk the same loops, you probably eventually will meet a walking girl. She's Yukionna you need. Talk to her and get your reward. Finally.

Hat and Scarf are activated by pressing left stick of gamepad. If you've equipped these warm cosy things, umbrella effect will cause snowfall instead of rain. Good weather to freeze a water at some locations.

1. The Docks

Go sleep and get to Docks. Or better (I believe you already cleared Docks before and don't want to deal Toriningens again) go to Desert door. And go to the right. Ride the train. Ride it three times until you arrive the Docks. There:


Go to right and pass Lighthouse level. It's easy. Just hide from the light rays


After that you will enter the dark forest, full of faceless witches. Boo! Don't worry, it's absolutely safe level.

After you pass a weird living tree, you will enter snowy area. Continue to walk until you reach this igloo:


Enter and touch a pink puddle.

2. Pink world

Go to right. Prefer walk the land and avoid deep places: you will sink. Find a balloon. Ride. Don't touch any buttons while you're flying. Or you will sink in the sea.

When you land, go further and find another balloon. And again and again. Until you finally arrive directly to these colorful pyramids you see on screenshot. Don't worry, you won't use any wrong balloon, it's pretty linear way.


Enter inside.

3. Poniko's room

You know what to do there, right?
Poniko is nasty and won't show us what she's writing. So switch off the lights. And again and again. Until the room is suddenly becomes totally dark. If you go right, you will wake up from nightmare. But if you use Lantern effect, you can reach Poniko's desk. Interact with it and enter Uboa world. Approach little cute Uboa in front of you... few times until you can interact with him. And he will give you what you want.

Mask of Fear scares away some monsters nearby. And killes some. For example, it kills red eyed youkais that kills you with red beams.
Btw. Great help to restrain Monoko while you're crawling under her beds ;)
