Advanced Movement: How to Do the Thing
By MichaHil
Have you ever completed the tutorial, but forgot about the movement? Have you ever blazed right into a gunfight with a sword, with your right mouse button broken? Do you need to get the goof out? The key is to know how to spam the spacebar to get the goof out, you goofing idiots.

Introduction
Another summer, another guide stylized about How I Grammar, and more summerposting. We've all seen it; 10-13 year olds explore steam in depth and start goofposting all over the guides and forums. However, those who actually care about this game make good guides, and sometimes call out the little gremlins. This is me. I'm the one who made this guide, FearlessDreamer, the person who makes memes and who made Four Versions of Meet the Spy. Now, I'm teaching you about movement in a game a developer gave up working on.
Wallflashing
Oh boy, oh boy! This is a bit harder than usual, yet essential.

How to Do: First, find some walls that you can hop off of consecutively, minimum three jumps to get a lot of speed. Spam the spacebar and constantly jump off each wall, gaining more speed every jump; don't worry if you haven't figured out a route yet, you can just make one up along the way.

Why to Do: Pretty much anything goes! Wallflash away from enemies, to enemies, from houses, to houses, picking up stuff, etc.
Shootjumping
This is really hard to do for laggers, so I advise you skip this section unless you're a no-lag 144hz GTX1080 user.

How to Do: Start wallrunning while you have a gun; probably a sniper. Try shooting others while you're on the wall.

Why to Do: This is only used for a last-resort tactic, because it's very risky, very hard, and very satisfying.
The "Jump Up, Get Down" tactic
This isn't really hard, but it isn't really easy either. This is something that you'd usually use in your first five seconds of Harbour, yet it isn't used much outside of that. Still, learn this because it's important.

How to Do: Find a wall and find a target (optional: highlight the target), then jump off of the wall and use something to kill the target. Most likely it'll notice you.

Why to Do: This is good for the first five seconds of Harbour, but not much for anything else. It's for scoring that one kill on the dude with the shotgun.

i have no idea how i discovered this but if you run backwards into a wall and spam jump as fast as possible you can climb forever

you'll have to spam jump as fast as possible so it might be easier with jump binded to your scroll wheel or something
you also need to be at a perfect 90° angle to the wall or else it will just send you to the side and you'll only get about 3 jumps in

i tested it out on harbor and you can clear 5 container high walls with this tech

now why you would want to use this instead of using the hook or just parkouring on the other containers to get up there? idk, but it's good to know how to do this on custom maps with huge walls i guess :p4g_idea:
