MPH/KPH Speedometer Screen (Wiremod Build Guide)
By Stevie
In this guide, I will show you how to convert speed from an object/vehicle to a MPH or KPH speedometer screen through some very simple and easy to follow steps. Enjoy.

Example
Here is an example of an MPH monitor sycned with the same speed as a TDM car.
How? (Screenshots Included)
Okay, so first off. You will need a speedometer. Go to the Wiremod tab in your spawnmenu and search speedometer.

Attach this to somewhere on your vehicle or object that you wish to meausure the speed from. Aslong as the speedometer is attached to the main part of an object or somewhere on the car, it will work fine.
Leave the boxes unticked as this is not an advanced setup. I will make a guide in the near future to explain all advanced setups you can do with speedometers.

Next, in the Wiremod search bar, type Gates and you should now see a new menu with all types of gates.
In the gates search menu, search for Round. There will be several round gates in here. Select Arithmetic

Place the Arithmetic round gate somewhere on the vehicle/object. Preferably next to the speedometer to make your life a bit easier when wiring.
Next, go back to the Wiremod menu and search for Screen
DO NOT USE A TEXT SCREEN A wiremod screen is different to a text screen so make sure you search the correct one.
Make sure the Only One Value box is ticked as well as the Use Better Font For Single Valued Screen.

Inside TEXT A, name the measurement of speed you want to record. The speedometer has two options; KPH (Kilometers per Hour) or MPH (Miles per Hour). Just for this guide, I'm using MPH but either value follow the same steps.
Place the screen to an area of your choice depending if you want to see it from the drivers seat and weld the screen. Unless you have some fancy addons or PAC skills, you won't be able to completely insert the screen into the car so I've just welded the screen to the front of the car facing the driver.

Now it's time to wire everything up!. Just double check that on your vehicle/object you have a Speedometer - Arithmetic Round Gate - Screen with MPH/KPH Value
Wiring (Screenshots Included)
All you need to do now is wire everything up. This tends to catch some people out as they are not sure which input goes to where so follow the screenshots carefully.

Firstly,
Select the wiring tool and start with A on the screen and connect with OUT on the Arithmetic Round Gate

Next,
Wire A from the Arithmetic Round Gate to the Speedometer. If you're measuring MPH on your screen, select MPH, vice versa.

If you're seeing billions of numbers fly off the screen. You have done something wrong. Make sure to follow the screenshots carefully and IN ORDER. Doing it in order is very important.
Finished Product
And that's it! You're done, you should now see a clear reading of MPH or KPH on your value screen.

As I said before, if you're struggling to get this to work feel free to add me on steam for some help but hopefully, if you followed the screenshots in order, there will be no problems.

Credits/Summary
That's all, thank you very much for reading and hopefully you learnt something new.

This guide was created by Stevie. Please do not re-upload or copy my guide word for word, it's pretty annoying.

@Stevie You actually don't need a round gate. Just select "floor screen value" in the screen settings.
