mod ON:
-Duration of the fight = 2 min
-Falgellants win narrowly but every time.
mod OFF:
-Duration of the fight = 2 min
-Marauder Berserkers win largely.
So yes, this mod destroys the balance without modifying the duration of the fights. And I'm not even talking about the version of this mod that modifies the damage of the attacks in a non-proportional way. Really to avoid if you want to have a relatively balanced game.
Personally though, I love the OP ranged units.
Ranged units and artillery are extremely op with this mod due to the range and reload buffs the mod gives, making melee units pretty much useless because they just get shot to pieces before even reaching the archer lines of fire In which they get absolutely annihilated as they try to approach the wall of melee units protecting the machine gun crossbows.
Another thing I see wrong with the ranged part of this mod is now Bretonia has the best archers in the game? The peasant archers have a range of 220 up from 160 meanwhile the high elven archers and Sisters of Avelorn have a range of 180 which was their vanilla range. How are peasants outshooting High elves?
It's a really fun mod but the ranged aspect of it could definitely use tweaking, maybe create a melee only version of this mod to make melee viable?
The values for all ranged units in the game lies in the (data -> db -> "projectiles_table")
All damage, range and reload times are in there.
However (for my tastes), ranged and artillery units are hugely OP. E.g, a Luminark of Hysh pumps out 5000 damage in 10 seconds.
Any chance of a melee only version, keeping reload speeds the same as vanilla? If not, could you tell me where I can find the values to make my own? Thanks!
