Quake Champions is a cash grab by Zenimax using an incomplete and flawed product. It's another run of the mill FPS using the Quake name to sell a piece of crap.

Gameplay-wise, other than a generic run-of-the-mill FPS, it's a pay to win system. There are 3 currencies in game, Honour, Platinum and one last one. They are used to unlock basic things like colour shades, skins and Legendary Heroes. Legendary Heroes actually have different abilities that can be activated with the F key and vary from hero to hero. Each hero also has different stats like health, armour and move speed.

Conclusion, don't even try this game. It's a blatant cash grab by trying to sell you loot boxes with the most basic things like colour shaders, icons, nameplates and skins.

Do you want to unlock the Legendary Heroes? Pony up 900 Platinum or grind out 250,000 Honour. Let me just point out that it's 13.99 for 1100 Platinum.

2. Incomplete Early Access Game
The skins are so bad and the game pits you against bots. This is fairly evident when you see the whole enemy team jump up and land in the exact same location with a fixed bot pathway.

3. Ridiculous "Server Full" Error Messages
Either Zenimax wants to pretend that there's a queue or they didn't setup enough servers. Either way, they did a bad job. As long as you wait, the numbers will fall drastically. I suspect they just want you to "feel" like there's a huge fan base.
