ATTENTION
I am no longer updating my mods on the Steam Workshop, and I am very unlikely to add new ones to the Workshop.
I recommend seeking them out on the Nexus or integrated into the mod I am focusing on, Relics of Hyrule.

Years ago, the whole of Tamriel was covered by a vast ocean, with islands scattered throughout it. One island was home to a vast temple dedicated to the earth. Resting within was a shield that could reflect magic, forged by the gods to aid a hero destined to vanquish an evil menace from the dawn of time. Grim stories say that the shield was wielded by such a hero, but was lost to the sea.

The ward effect appears and vanishes quickly, but the shield still reflects! Don't worry! It's just a visual cue to let you know it's working!

The shield is heavy armor by default, but can be converted to light armor by heating it in a smelter.

The enchantment cannot be made learnable. Sorry.

This mod places the Mirror Shield from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker into a large lake in Skyrim, specificially in the Pale. Since the shield is such a strong artifact (equal to an Ebony Shield) with a very powerful enchantment -- the ability to reflect magic attacks -- that is the only hint you will get. That and you might have to fight a dragon.
