Stanier Black 5 lamp codes
By CrazyGecko
A small but simple guide to the lamp codes of the Black 5 by Bossman Games and their uses to help save time and cut down on fiddling around in the cab and editor since these were accidently missed in the included manual.

This will include the keys to use while in the cab but also in the scenario editor. When you select the loco you will see the coal and water levels but also the loco number so we'll use 45419#NN as an example. The first 'N' applies to the front of the loco while the second 'N' applies to the tender, this means that 45419#AN will apply Classification 1 lights to the front.

To keep it small the guide will focus on the front headlamps for both editor an in cab.

Some people will be have them set up right at the start and others won't depending on what's going on.

yeah i just saw that some of the scenarios have the high intensity lamp already placed

For the high intensity lamps you need to press the number three times as it'll cycle through the older lamp first then it'll swap to the high intensity lamp. Keep in mind this only works for the preserved Black 5's not the older BR and LMS ones.
