Can confirm this guide still works in 2025.

@stronklus, the Javelin isn't really the best gun. Try using either the plasma cutter or the Pulse Rifle; they have by far the best performance against all enemy types.

That said, Javelin is a fun one.

take off the music and the game is drastically different

Playing with someone in the room or watching you play like on a call or somethin helps confirmed strats from a real bitch

or just turn the graphics up so that the physics are all janky and end up walking into a room with a break dancing corpse

Once I watched a normal necromorph run across a hallway very far away. And I just busted out laughing at his stupid little shuffle. Now the game is nowhere near as scary.

Though I will say the scariest Enemies in 2 are the raptors. Scariest in 3 are those starved bastards that make howler monkey noises.
