Achievement Guide.
Run Zeus Run is an endless runner game with 170 Steam achievements, all of which can be earned in approximately 25 to 60 minutes (dependant on skill and luck, as levels, monsters and coins are random for each playthrough). None of the achievements are missable and despite the looks of the Steam achievement stats page none are broken, although more than a few unlock earlier than they appear to be intended to.

Upon starting my first game the following achievements were automatically unlocked...
- "God of Olympus"
- "King of Olympus"
- "Community Attacker 3"
- "Community Attacker 2"
- "Community Attacker 1"
- "Community Runner 3"
- "Community Runner 2"
- "Community Runner 1"
- "Community Treasurer 3"
- "Community Treasurer 2"
- "Community Treasurer 1"
- "Monster Killer 5"
- "Monster Killer 4"
- "Monster Killer 3"
- "Monster Killer 2"
- "Monster Killer 1"
- "Coin Collector 5"
- "Coin Collector 4"
- "Coin Collector 3"
- "Coin Collector 2"
- "Coin Collector 1"
- "High Scorer 1"

The following achievements are easily earned with some grinding...
-There are 19 "Score Achiever" achievements, with one randomly unlocking for every 500 points that you score.
- There are 104 "Coin Hunter" achievements, with one randomly unlocking for every 50 coins that you collect.
- There are 20 "Monster Slayer" achievements, with one randomly unlocking for every 3 monsters that you kill.
- "Champion of Olympus" Unlocks when all Score Achiever, Coin Hunter and Monster Slayer achievements have been unlocked.

The following achievements take some effort, skill and luck to earn...
- "High Scorer 2" unlocks when you get a high score of 2000 in one game.
- "High Scorer 3" unlocks when you get a high score of 3000 in one game.
- "High Scorer 4" unlocks when you get a high score of 4000 in one game.
- "High Scorer 5" unlocks when you get a high score of 5000 in one game.

My "High Scorer 5" achievement run...
In total it took me about 45 minutes to earn all the achievements which included 5 short breaks due to suffering motion sickness while playing, my final playthrough netted me the "High Scorer 5" achievement and the 44th place on the leader boards...
Gameplay Tips.
The space-bar or left mouse button can be used to jump. You can double jump, however, try to use the second only if and when necessary as countless times, having the second jump available at the last second had saved me.

The Left Ctrl key is used for your lightning attack (there is no mouse button alternate) which will strike all monsters on screen from above, beware that this attack has a 4 second recharge time. There are comments on the discussion boards claiming the lightning attack can only be used when you are on the ground, during my playthrough however, I was able to use the attack unrestricted whether I was on the ground or not.

It should be noted however that the attack is rather buggy. Sometimes the lightning animation does not play and the monster still dies, sometimes the lightning animation doesn't play and the monster does not die and sometimes the animation does play, but it does not kill the monster and if the monster is still on screen it is still very much alive and will kill you if you touch it.

My advice regarding this issue would be, if you can jump over a monster then do so and consider the lightning attack a backup means of dealing with monsters.

My final notes are regarding the monsters of which there are three variants...

I could be wrong here, but the only difference I spotted was with the hammerhead shaman looking monster holding a sceptre or wand, these guys can jump, so if you encounter one use your lightning attack, if its recharging, make sure to double jump over it otherwise he will jump and kill you.

Other than the above the only advice I can offer is to persist, the level layout, monster and coin spawns are entirely random, if you keep at it, eventually the game will cut you some slack enough to get a decent score, just make sure to take regular breaks as once you get a score of around 3000 the in game performance takes a nose dive and it looks like the game is running at 10 frames a second, even when it's not and this can easily cause motion sickness.
