AT LAST, THE PS4 KAIJU MODELS HAVE ARRIVED! Ultimo has managed to successfully extract the remaining Kaiju models from the PS4 Godzilla game, and is in the process of porting them!

Battra is a 'dark counterpart' to Mothra, and is a Divine Moth just like her. However, while Mothra is willing to negotiate with civilisations should they endanger the Earth, Battra was born of Earth's anger towards those who sought to destroy its natural beauty, and therefore he gives no such mercy. Battra is also the first male Divine Moth to appear on screen in Toho's Kaiju films, followed up by Mothra Leo.

In Godzilla vs. Mothra, Battra had been lying dormant for over 12,000 years after obliterating an ancient civilisation who sought to control Earth's climate. Despite having resolved the situation, Battra deemed that all of humanity was a risk to the planet, and decided to continue his attack, but was sealed away by Mothra. Millennia later, he was reawakened in 1993 after a meteorite strike, and took no time in renewing his attack on those he deemed to be harming the planet, forcing Mothra to intervene once more. After several battles, the two Moths would soon realise that there was a much greater threat to the world, in the form of Godzilla!

With the two Moths working together, they were able to take down the King of the Monsters himself, and carried him off to drop him back into the sea where he belonged. However, at the last moment, Godzilla brutally killed Battra, tearing out the heroic insect's throat and blasting his Atomic Breath directly into the wound. Both Battra and Godzilla fell into the ocean, sinking below the waves. After honouring her ally's death, Mothra returned to inform humanity of an asteroid approaching Earth. Battra had been tasked to destroy the Asteroid, but Mothra was now appointed with saving the planet, and departed Earth's atmosphere to intercept the giant rock.

In subsequent games and comics in the series, Battra's alignment as a hero or enemy has varied quite a fair bit, although most of the time he's presented as being on the side of Earth's other monsters.

This excellent addon contains both the Larva and Imago forms of Battra, each in four sizes. The Battra Larva model also has two skins to control the glowing portion of its horn. Enjoy!

The Dark Guardian

Long ago, an ancient civilization attempted to use a weather control machine to control earth's climate. In reponse, the earth created Battra, a dark winged avenger of the Earth who unleashed his fury upon the civilization. In return, the ancient civilization created Mothra to protect themselves. The clash between the two destroyed the ancient world, and Battra was laid to rest, until it was reborn in 1992 in response to the environmental pollution of the time.

The "Unstoppable sword" to Mothra's "immovable shield", Battra is an offense oriented kaiju who relentlessly unleashes prism beams of light and energy attacks on his foes.

The model comes in four sizes and the larva form has two skins to control the glowing portion of it's horn.
