Badlands Rock Pack

Description
Ten-piece matching set of rocks. They appear to be sedimentary, but that's the extent of my rock knowledge. They're just meant to look cool, really.

Included in the download are five large building-type rocks (similar to the new in-game cliffs - only not quite as large), three small single rock props, and two scattered rock props. No dlc or additional downloads required here.

Asset info
Have a gander at the screens above, I've taken screen captures of the mesh and texture info.

Texture sharing
All five large pieces use the same 512x1024 textures. Using the Loading Screen Mod will save you memory. The three single rocks share 256 textures and the other two both share a 128 texture. Custom LoDs also have shared textures. I didn't need to do much baking here.

All of these assets have a solid white colour map. Using Painter, you can add tints or darken these up a bit if it's desired. Make them blue, you can do that too.

Also, the props have size variations between .5 and 3. I found I got quite a bit of variety out of them.

About
I spent the last week or so on vacation and a good portion of that was spent getting to know some of the finer points of the software I'm working with. For some reason, all I have to show for the week are these rocks. I hope you enjoy them. They're best suited for arid looking themes and paired with shrubby, desaturated plants. The theme used above, obviously, was Arrowhead Junction. It's all a bit removed from what I've been posting up until now - but sometimes you just have to finish what you start.

I recommend using Find it
Many of you are familiar with this mod. To find these items, type 'Rock' for the props and 'Column' or 'Arch' for the big guys. I may do an update to flesh out the description of these items, or outright change the asset templates - but for now, this is the best way to quickly find them.

That's it. That's all. Time for bed. Thanks again. Let me know if you encounter any problems with the rocks.

These are the bomb. Makes me think of Bryce Canyon Hoodoos.
Have you thought about those formations as a prop set?
A bit more ambitious of a project, but they could be doable I think, since the textures are mostly horizontally striated rock like these :)

@graysonthrush2003 - Cool! Send me a screenshot when you get it up and running. I'll post it on this page, if you're cool with that.

Thanks so much for this! It'll really work well in my Nauru-based map I'm working on right now!
