Some information about Gargantua (aka Book Monster :D)

-summons from Book behind 800$ door.

-at 1st wave it has over 20k HP, growing each wave for ~1-1,5k.

-resist to fire damage.

-takes all damage from mellee, explosives and bullets.

-has 3 types of attack:

1) Flame attack (such as Pantagruel miniguns attack, 10-20 dmg per second).

2) Kick (mellee 25-30 dmg, knockback).

3) Hoof Stomp (smashes earth and pull all characters to him with 30-40 dmg + falling damage).

-after death drops 200 $, random item (Helmet/Armor/Trinket/Gem/Items Upgrade kits), has small chance to drop Flamethrower (Pulverizing Pantagruel Device). Only one item for each player may be dropped. Many friends with you - many treasures!

What we need?

-15 lvl Religious (maximum Sorcery)

-"Fortitude" talent at 15 lvl

-Ancient Axe (getting for complete 5 task)

-800$ for open door

Tactics

Each wave we can summon Gargantua from Book.
Before it we must call 2-3 Angels from our Religious 10 lvl skill at room. With "Fortitude" they will be our "tanks".

Maximum Sorcery is necerssary for Angels maximum HP for tanking and with 15 lvl talent they has 8% HP regen. So they may be standing some time against Gargantua, when we will be smashing him :)

Better if you place them far from each other.

When you call Gargantua - the door in his room will be closed until you killed him or all players dead from Book Monster :)

Now prepare you Ancient Axe and let's go!

When Garg attack your Angels, standing behind and backstabing it with your Axe!

After killing one of your minions - step back from it, that Garg can attack next Angel. Calling some "fresh" minions and chop-chop-chop!

May be situation, when all your Angels regrouping and start kicking Garg instead of shooting :D

Then Gargantua "answer" first Kick attack and after - Hoof Stomp and will give many damage. So be carefull!

After death Gargantua all players in his room gets rewards, and Book will be closed for next wave.

Not to mention you don't need ancient axe to kill gargantua might sound dumb , but better method is shotgun at least in early game .

Also this guide sucks , because you don't need to wait until level 15 if you're not a noob you can just kill him as early as wave 10 and on pve_wintertown you can kill him on 1 st wave with a bit of practice why you didn't mention this ? . And your language skills are not perfect either for example '' -800$ for open door '' while correct form is '' it costs 800$ to open door '' . My grammar is not perfect too , but i'm just saying .

Also you can use sniper rifle because it deals a lot of damage(~1k from one bullet at tier 1 and ~8k from one bullet at tier 5, sometimes you hit critical 2x damage). Its really expensive(ammo price) but its worth it.

P.S. Satchel useful at beginning of fight.

@❤๖ۣۜೋHuntereyeೋ๖ۣۜ❤ i agree i completely mastered killing garg with rushing class till like 130 + wave and like 64 level , but i'm too lazy to create my guide on it in fact i've never created any guide on steam come to think of it maybe i should lol xd .

After wave 100, drop only one angel per time(to keep some MP), chop gargantuar(with axe, make sure to upgrade it), drop another angel if the boss kill them, repeat... and do not forget to equip a good trinket of sorcery or MP regen... and if you're dying make sure to be invisible(use angels for distraction). That's my experience playing alone, pve_tomb, softcore!

Garg can be beaten when u reach lvl 10 , u dont need full sorcery (5 are enough) or ancient axe its enough if u go in with 4 angels , full mp , and 2 mp kits , then just punch him with your sword its enough. Also Its not like Religious is the only one that can beat him. If u create a guide for beating a boss dont limit it to 1 class
