Age of Empires 2 came with a great, fold-out chart showing which buildings, units and technologies could be researched by which civilizations. However, that chart did not include The Conquerors expansion. Hence, here it is redone and including all the civilizations, listing all their restrictions.

(contains some mistakes that have been corrected in the image file though)

Full size image can be viewed here (in case Steam doesn't show it properly).

Not everything from the game is listed here, only that which does not apply to every civilization. In other words, if it's not listed below, everyone can build or research it.

Sure mate. At the moment the numbers aren't consistent, but it's eventually going to be a tier list/calculator dependent on some formulas for various build orders/scenarios.

Ah fair enough. Is it alright if I use your formatting for a chart of my own? Downloaded yours to check some stuff then got carried away adding stuff.

That was a mistake that's now been corrected and Galleons are not included because every civilization except the Aztecs have them.

Hey man, great chart! I'm using it for a project of my own, I've noticed a couple of things though, so you may want to revise it. There's no section for Galleons, also Saracens don't get Cavaliers.

What version did you write this for? It may be that I'm wrong, I'm going off HD data but Saracens haven't had cavaliers since 1.0c

Hi! I'm working on spreadsheets on unit stats/attack bonus made for printing, to create something similar to that fold-out chart. This list is an ideal addition for that. I'd like to share it (and also an expanded version for AoFE) together with my stuff. Are you okay with that? I'd give credit of course.
