Health: Recovers slowly over time, Restore lost Health.

Energy: Recovers slowly over time, faster with a 'Cyano Reprocessor'.

Fatigue: Starts at normal max of 100 and drains away over time till it reaches 37.5. It can be recovered by sleeping at a 'portabed' or from some consumables. It is also the limit to Stamina (the circle running meter that shows up in the centre of the screen when you run).

Food & Water: View by looking at your arm ('TAB' by default). They decrease over time and are restored with the items above.

Recycle Value: Is the Lux you get from 'Recycling' the item in a Recycle Station
Consumable Tips
*Canteen: a 'Small Canteen' holds 100ml (2drinks) 'Large Canteen' holds 200ml (4drinks). Each drink from a Canteen is up to 50ml of water if available and restores 30% water value. If the canteen has less than 50ml remaining it will restore a proportionally smaller amount. As there is no difference in storage capacity per inventory space 2 'Small Canteen' gives more flexibility in inventory placement than 1 'Large Canteen'

Make it Last: When a consumable restores food or water it also stops that value from decreasing for 2 minutes of real world time (not in game clock). This effect does not stack so waiting at-least 2 minuets between those consumables maximizes the benefits. Turns out snacking is better than big meals after all. Note: This effects only food & water values.

Quick Key: As of version 1.0.0.3 there is no quick key to use a battery to recover energy, requiring opening the inventory to restore it. However if there are no 'Health Hypos' in inventory but there is 'Supra Hypos' and the character is wounded pressing '4' (Quick Heal) will restore a little energy.
Water Farming
Simply put you will need a 'Power Relay' with a charged 'Ion Core' to provide power. Then place a 'Water Condenser' in the powered area. As long as it is powered it will produce water up to it's maximum storage. You can't drink directly from it an must find or craft a reusable 'Small Canteen' or 'Large Canteen'. Once placed in the 'Water Condenser' you can fill it with water and remove it to drink or carry water with you.

So far 1 fully upgraded 'Water Condenser' seems to produce enough water to meet regular needs.
Food Farming
Using a 'Hydroponics Small' or 'Hydroponics Large' allows you to turn Seed Packets and Fertilizer into useful food. As above you will need the basic Power providing base equipment. Additionally Hydroponics requires a certain level of light. This can be achieved with natural lighting during the day in several areas open to the sky, by building a 'portable light', or by turning the power in the local district all the way up to Full Power in some locations.

Hydroponics Small or Large can be upgraded which adds a "UV" to the end of the name. As long as these stations have Power (from a 'Power Relay' Station) it acts as if it has full light allowing growing food anywhere in Edan.

Fertilizer can be found, purchased, or best of all right click a food item and choose 'Salvage'. This produces a single 'Fertilizer' or (~10%chance) 'Fertilizer +'

Production: 'Hydroponics Small' produces 2 Food, 'Hydroponics Large' produces 3-5 Food, & both produce 1-2 Seed Packets

Replant Time: These Foods can be grown again without using another seed packet. As all plants produce 1-2 Seed Packets on each harvest they are easiest to spread to additional planters.

Time & Fertilizer: 'Fertilizer +' takes 1/3 off Time (ie 300s become 200s and 600s becomes 400s) & 'Fertilizer ++' takes 1/2 off Time (ie 300s become 150s and 600s becomes 300s)

Useful Math:
-All farmed food seems to provide 20% food, Recycle for 42Lux, & can be Salvaged for 1
Fertilizer (which is only worth 7Lux)
-Seed Packets Recycle for 75Lux

Lux (Money) Making: Harvest always produces 1-2 Seed Packets & the replant-able ones don't use those to grow more you can get the most Lux by farming those crops. Also always use 'Large Hydroponics' as it has more production at no cost.

Speed Farming: Crops will continue to grow while you sleep and once you start everything you need is provided by your corps. You can harvest, turn 1 food into Fertilizer to replant, then sleep for 2-3hours and repeat as much as you want. When the game says you are not tired enough to sleep you only need to wait for a minuet to be tired enough to sleep.

Replant Time: These Foods can be grown again without using a seed packet. As they always produce 1-2 Seed Packets they are easiest to spread to additional planters.

Press R makes a lot of sense. I will have to use that when I am next playing. :-)

Actually, if you aim your weapon and hit R, it will use a battery. Works in 1.0.0.3

Short answer not yet. People have been asking for it in the forums.
Long answer:
-I have seen batteries auto-used if using the scanner to repair a device at the moment of running out of power (not a common situation or that useful)
-If you only have Supra Hypos (restore health & Fatigue) in your inventory and hit '4'(Quick Heal) to use a healing item will use one of those. In the current version(1.0.0.3) any time you use a Hypo that restores Fatigue it also restores a little energy. (Not a great work around but if you carry Super Hypos and no other healing items it should get you 50-100 energy in a pinch)(NOTE you must be hurt for '4' to do anything, wont work at full health)
