Earthshaker is a very unique support hero that relies almost entirely on 1 skill for the early game to be useful. It isn't recommended that you enter melee range since he's weak, but fissure has a massive range, and with it you can successfully initiate fights, counter initiate, and block retreat paths. Once you farm a blink dagger, your usefulness skyrockets as the enemy team has to be afraid of your massive aoe from echo slam.
