There he was climbing out the wreckage of his crashed hypersleep chamber on a planet not recorded in any interstellar map. "Emergency Release initiated!" was still flashing on his console. "This is not good." he thought while watching the strange landscape that lies ahead of him. Then he started walking, trying to find shelter to avoid possible dangers in a world he had no clue what awaits him.

There i was working on a horror themed wallpaper and noticing that a render job for that wallpaper will at least take one week or even longer. So i decided to use this picture to meanwhile create a wallpaper without any rendered animation, just the integrated fx WE has to offer. Didn´t do that for a long time but it was fun because i really love this background picture. It´s from the game "Stellaris" and this picture was love at first sight. ;-)
