Marine Suit short description
Valkyrie M4X Space Marine Armored Suit is standart armour of all UEF Space Marine Corps marines. It is most advanced military gear humanity possesses. Notable features include:
- Primary energy core and core systems are divided from auxiliary funcions such as external visual sensors. This ensures suit core is immune to hack attemps, side effect is that auxiliry systems limited battery quickly drains but normally batterry is automaticlly recharged from all nearby unprotected electronics, so this only becomes a problem when isolated from civilization.
- Electromagnetic shield: normally, strong attacks such as plasma weaponry can kill even heavily-armored human in one hit, regardless of remaining stability/power. Valkyrie detects possible danger and deflects it using electro-magnetic impulse shield. Sadly, this drains energy directly from primary energy core but uses auxiliary systems to detect danger; on practice this means that each shield activation damages some auxiliary systems and if none remain, shield will be unable to activate in time.
- Hacking routines: normally, highly-protected cores (datacores, sentry guns, specialized equiplent) can't be accessed by foreight personel. But suit is capable of almost instantly finding vunderabilities in network around cores. If no active network presents (example: automatically disabled by space vessel automatic anti-boarding system), suit will just hijack core directly.
- - Note that specialized equipment can be used to repair suit's auxiliary system but is reset after each repair cycle completion and also has limited resources.
- Plasma weapons compatability: see " Plasma weaponry" section
- Self-learning/adaptation: whenever suit receives intel about surroundings, no matter how fragmentary, it actually adapts it routines to better fit into situation. Basic suit configuration is fit for urban warfare and uprisings suppression, which means it takes at most few dozens of military-grade datacores of intel to completely re-fit to any other task.
- - Even before re-fit, trained marines are capable of doing most tasks, especially if working as a team. Normally suit receives data during task execution, adapting in process and further increasing success rate and completion speed.

Notable cons of suit include lack of protection against specific, anti-armor attacks and general bulkyness/heavy weight - marine is capable of running in suit, but it is medically not recommened to do for prolonged period of time (and is quite uncomfortable), so running only starts in event of danger. All of this is countered by strategical thinking, decent reaction and accuracy and, most importantly, teamwork between marines.
Plasma weaponry
Advanced weapon tech that humanity (mostly in face of United Earch Forces) possesses, plasma weaponry is relatively cheap to restock (it uses same plasma units as many space vessel systems and advanced prodiction lines) and is quite powerful even in basic form. With sufficent control, advanced plasma weaponry becomes avalaible, which is even more powerful and efficient.

Each plasma weapon consumes one or more plasma units to create mostly stable plasma sphere, which is then launched using electro-magnetic accelerators. Notably, sphere flies without losing stability and can even sometimes ricochet from cold, non-living surfaces. Contact with something not so ordered (warmth of living creatures) causes instant detonation, releasing energy or plasma in short radius. Typically human being is killed by one such explosion - this easily illustrates its power.

Basic plasma weaponry is already decent, but trained personel (and most modern scientists are trained for this) can remotely control plasma bolt forming process, somewhat slowing it but making bolt notably more powerful. Generally following stages are used
- Stage one: red plasma, which is more structurized and thus somewhat more damaging.
- Stage two: blue plasma, which is better structurized and thus have better ricochet properties for non-living surfaces while more easily burning through armor of living.
- Stage three: green-colored bolt. Actually not just stable plasma sphere, but hard-to-control "smart" bolt, specifically created for damaging enemy the most.

Notably, plasma weapons are tend to overheat quickly, and are also heavy. As such, they are used either as heavy ordinance (sentry guns, manned turrets ect.) or by exosuit/armoured suit users. Valkyrie suit series are all notably include compatability with plasma weaponry, sporting internal (well protected) plasma tank and automated plasma cells collecting hose that can collect plasma from enemy plasma weaponry, or standart plasma storage depots, or other sources. Speed of collection is high to begin with and can be further increased by science control teams that create and constantly correct algorithms for plasma cells flow.

- Note that divverent Valkyrie suits has different internal plasma storage size. This is because suit can shift phyical position of its circuits to increase storage size or, opposite, sacrifice it to get something else
- P.S. newest energy flow immaterial door aka "security laser fence" tends to reflect plasma bolts regardless of their state. As it is installed on more and more "safe" places, extreme caution is adviced when using plasma weapons near active fence
