Player Hideout

Description
This Mod adds 2 buidings and several basic building placement that do not create a player town on placement to the default start.
This let's you create a small (hideout) outside of cities or at certain waypoints you want. (does'nt add a marker to the map either) which is why i suggest placing them near something.
-Bed -Large Foundation -Stormhouse -General Storage Chest -item/corpse furnace -prisoner cage -stone mine/processer -small veg farm -well

I know this might be Necro, but is it broken? i placed down a mine and it created an outpost, this mod is exactly what i have been looking for so it would be really cool if that were fixed?

I've found that if the house is placed in the middle of nowhere I can't see through the roof, but if it's close enough to a map marker like a town or location like a ruined tower it works fine. Seems to have something to do with town radius since if for example I build near Dust Tower the house seems to become part of that location's town radius and my storage containers are all marked as owned by Dust Tower as if I bought a house in a town.

So there is a sort of workaround to the roof problem even if it's not exactly ideal. Just need some trial and error to see how far from a town or location you can build so the roof thing doesn't happen.

I'm getting the same glitch as The Divided God, i built a hidden Storm House and i cant see inside it unless i zoom in past the walls which makes playing rather difficult. Other than that the mod is great.

Without these items the whole idea is hobbled - like, yeah, I get a hideout and some stuff, but you can't actually make food, which is kinda the whole point - having a safe farm and cooking station to return to in order to stock up between voyages without having to worry about getting destroyed by locals is basically what gives you some breathing room.

anyways the mod definitely needs a once over, it's kind of buggy the more I play with the hidden buildings.

I also noticed that the cooking stove DOES in fact trigger an outpost, when it is placed on the ground outside a hidden building, so this mod needs a hidden version of that. also, there's no hidden greenfruit storage, so nowhere to store the one thing you can grow, and thus the cooking stove AI job behaviour doesn't work properly - sometimes the cook will grab greenfruit directly from the farm, sometimes he just stands there aimless. The other thing this mod needs is a hidden food barrel, to actually put the food in when you are done cooking the vegetables.

Looks like some bugs in this mod - several times now I've loaded up a save to find that suddenly, my hidden buildings and greenfruit farms are hidden no more, and I have an "outpost" marker on the map now. For whatever reason, hidden status is not persisting through saves, and as a result the game is generating an outpost map marker on game load.

I would think so, as they seem to be used to set up a place when starting out, but I've never used this mod.

Noob question, well couple actually: I've got a ton of mods loaded including a couple camping mods (Simple Camping Extras; Buried Treasure; Camp Bed; Extended Camping; as well as several that affect storage . . . ) grabbed someone's collection. With a brand new character I'm not seeing anything like a "Camping" sub-menu in the Building Menu. Are the items in this mod supposed to be buildable at like zero tech levels?

Getting a strange error now....I had put up a hidden storm house in HN territory, everything worked fine. I imported my game when the new patch came out, and when I tried to build a new hidden storm house in shem, for some reason, when the house was finished, it wouldn't let me see inside....like, the cutaway thing that happens when you enter a building, where the walls and roof disappear so you can see inside? didn't happen. I tried running through all the visible levels, 0-3, saved and reloaded, nothing. the building won't let me see inside no matter who is in there.

Nevermind, I was wrong, the cooking stove doesn't seem to put down an outpost marker. adding a hidden greenfruit storage would be good though
