Terraria FPS Guide (3 STEPS)

Terraria FPS Guide (3 STEPS)
This is for the people that struggle to play.

1) The fundamental changes.

Turn Frameskipping OFF! <<< This helps a lot.
Turn down the ''Multicore Lighting'' from 4 to 2 or 1.
Change quality to low.
Go to effects and switch ''waves'' quality to low.

2) Making natural effects.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's change the launch options of the game.

Go to your steam library > Right click Terraria > Properties > Set launch options < and follow that by pasting this next line:
-high -malloc=system -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -nomansky +mat_antialias 0

It's going to give Terraria a bit more power to run.
If your pc is not having trouble running terraria you can remove the -nomansky and the +mat_antialias 0.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) If all that is done and the game somehow stills, try the following:

Go to settings (on terraria) > video > resolution > and keep lowering your resolution and testing how much fps you got.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have fun guys! :)

Hmm, I'm playing a multiplayer world with my sister, and I did this part of the launch startup, and it wouldn't let me join her world.

I'm getting 1000+ fps on the title screen with max settings, now It just boosted about 200fps.
Bruh, my monitor can't handle this. Good thing this game is made out of PIXELS

Frame skipping bad for me. i still get 100 fps without it but with it i get 60 so yeah

Actually, frameskipping can help, because it means it won't render extra frames, letting the game run at it's top speed if you lag. I've played the game for almost 3,000 hours, so I think I know what I'm talking about
